The language here is Swahili. Kiswahili is the language spoken by East Africans in Kenya,

My school of thoughts is that dead bodies should be Reverend and hallowed.

Well, I don't think Ghanians have issues with your free thinking and new beliefs, so I don't think you should have problems with theirs! In other cultures, dead bodies are even burnt to ashes! So which one is worse? For instance, you eat cow meat, but in other cultures, cows are gods and are worshipped. I guess those people should have problems with you eating their gods! lol
