Are you sure your connection has not been bugged? 90k per month seems like a lot, even if you are using an air-conditioner(I'm assuming it's an inverter AC). Also, what's the wattage of the air fryer? Can you also cut down on the number of hours your fridge stays powered? You could reduce that to 6 hours per day. From my observation, if you power a chest freezer for 24 hours, 10k worth of power unit may not last for morethan 3 days. So I'm guessing your refrigerator might be a culprit.

I saw where someone posted he spends 20k monthly with fridge and AC and he's complaining.

Mine I only on fan, laptop and charge phone I don't even on light bulbs. Yet I spend 30k plus.

Any month I mistakenly turn on fridge 50 something thousand will go.

I stay in PH. Woji precisely. I have steady light but omo I pay through my nose.
I see more than 20hrs daily.

Thats because some greedy corporations hijacked power supply from government.

Utilities are a basic necessity, they re not supposed to be privately owned. Electricity prices are inflated to reward a greedy minority that enjoy it for free.

There's no country where people's electricity bill for a 3-bed room for a month is greater than their monthly wages.

I only put on just one AC 1&half horse power for three hours in a day, I have to stop using the other four AC. 4 ceiling fans-2 wall fan for 15 hrs, 1 TV for like 14 hrs, 22 bulbs,1 fridge, occasional use of washing machine, pumping machine and air fryer.

Is this normal? It's is so draining, just like I'm paying a house rent in my own house. Could this be as a result of bad wiring or na so everyone dey feel am.

Electricity is privately owned in many countries, because there is no government that can give it for free, and at the same time pay for expansion and maintenance costs.

In the USSR, electricity was free of charge, same thing in many communist countries. And starting from the early 1970's, many of them were taking loans to keep that electricity free among other things.

It costs money to build power stations, to expand the grid, to upgrade the grid. Where is the money going to come from? It cannot come from government because lower oil prices this year means that the budget is doomed before we even spend a kobo.

You do not have to supprot APC, PDP, etc to realize that years of subsidised power is why it is bad, why we pay for our wires and transformers, because the sector is not making enough profit to pay for stuff, and why we have a grid that until 2019 had not been fixed since the 1970's.

And as for the minority of businessmen, at least three investors have declared force maejure. The others are struggling. Partly because of government price controls, but also because of consumers like you who think that electricity should be free. Those rich people you think are benefinting, are not.



If you were running a business, selling bread that cost you N1200 to bake, una go sell am at N50 'to help the poor'.?

Name just one, if the utility bills of Europeans and Americans is nore than the minimum wage these two regions will experience revolution and their government booted out.

The best is to switch to solar. You're already doing 1.08M - 1.2M annually. 4-5 ACs you'll need 10kW inverter set up, the panel and battery will depend on your daily consumption patterns. But in less than 5 yes you should break even.

Solar wont last, the panels have a shelf life , the batteries have a shelf life , solar is useless at night and during rainy season. Get a generator instead.
