Weak man, abeg carry your wahala dey go.

Go and ask Uzodimma how to fight.

You don't hobnob with your enemy, Fight don't defend. Demolish, Arrest and Frame.

Don't hobnob with government at the centre, they are not your party members.

Ask Wike, he gave Buhari heat, standing on the order of opposition. almighty Ameachi ran away.

Go and sit down...to add insult to injury, you went to beg...how? How? Who does that? Why not stand shoulder high, let history keep your legacy intact.

Don't worry Wike will release your embarrassing video, then you will know you are dealing with the devil.
It look like this mater pained you than the Fubara himself. You dey cry like baby Birds BCS the man chooses peace of mind than what you his supporters want him to do that will make you happy .

This man's behavior is giving everyone an impression that Rivers state politicians are betrayers and not to be taken serious.

Don't trust Fubara with your full chest oo

If you were in that seat, with all the odds stacked against you, and more still in stock (I want to believe you KNOW the realities Fubara faces), please tell us how you intend to deliver "true democracy and governance to the people of Rivers state?

Most of the people you are castigating do not necessarily support the system, but they are realistic enough to take stock of the odds and choose the path of peace over right! Read that slowly!

Why?

Ask yourself! How did Fubara become Governor? What deals did he agree to that he now wants us to lynch Wike for?

Politics is more than having good intentions, not in Nigeria, not anywhere on the face of the earth.

He has come to realise that he was misled to start a fight he lost before it started.

press9jatv shey you see how Fubara gave you all the middle finger, Folks like you messed him up with baseless arguments!

Back to my question, regale us with what you will do!
There is nothing to fight here, if bringing my people to o poverty will mean being at peace with those who put me in Office, then there is no way I could have dived into such devilish work at first...

I have had someone who gave me a work that pays huge but said she will be taking 50% of my Salary....now the work pays huge, will give me connections , etc but won't give me peace of mind and I may at the middle of all things start feeling the need to argue or stop the payment but what did I do ....I told her to hold her Work .....

If I were Fabura, if am actually fighting for the will of the masses in all genuineness, then I will resign on my own , let the people of Rivers State vote for me in my next election.

Is true he soiled his hands, but the approach he was followed was totally wrong due to the fact that corruption is no longer a hidden thing in Nigeria....

Up till today, nobody knows what the issue was but there was State of emergency...

I don't know Fabura and he doesn't know me, the only thing that attracted me to him is that desire to do the right thing and have a good name to his name ....

Once that is gone, I can't be attracted to him so I can't say am supporting him, am only on the side that says we should all amend our ways and do the right thing ....

You that is supporting corruption, how have you come to love this country sincerely except if you are corrupt as well, then we have no issues to discuss because you are part of them...

Carry your foolish thinking to the party that welcomes sinners ( public funds eaters ) and call them saint , gives them protection against EFCC and ICPC..

Nigeria will not decay. Nigeria will be great. EFCC is fighting corruption, its a gradual process. Rubbish, YAHOO BOY SEF IS TALKING ABOUT CORRUPTION. How have you handled corruption in your family or community?

From the comments some make here, one can easily conclude that it will take Nigeria our great great grand Children to be a society where progress and transparency without corruption, intimidation, all manners of nonsense can stop.....

Fubara should stand on delivering true democracy and governance to the people of Rivers State, any other share or quota any individual who thinks he made him Governor is demanding, should never happen....

Those who support this nonsense are the enemies of a progressive Nigeria.....
Exactly, just like chris ngige handled Uba's family in Anambra State

You clearly got my point....he fought and fought until all those standing witnesses for him in court withdrew and left him naked ....

Today, posterity remembers him, he , Chris Ngige constructed a road from Awka to Mbaukwu down to Agulu that was forgotten by the past Administration before him and called a farm settlement area... today, that road has not received a percent touch on maintenance, still clean and neat without any eroding danger...
The same him, was the supervisor of all roads in Anambra during his 3yrs in office as Governor...
Inshort , he was the sacrificial lamb used to cleanse Anambra State from hijackers of power called god fathers....

Today, Chris Ngige has served as both a Senator and a Minister which to me is Grace after living a transparent legacies...

If not for joining APC which has less strength in South East and in Anambra State, I will gladly vote for him as a Governor then assuming he came back to contest...

If Fabura is not careful, going back to his vomit will bring his political life to total doom and darkness....is not about fame and money ...

Most of the questions like this your own always drives me m.........ddd.
Do you think this demands by the godfathers are always done after their godsons have resumed work as governors?
Are you not aware that this demands you and Fubara are complaining of are always parts of the larger pre-electoral agreement between godfather and godson?
For your information, godfathers always outline all the demands and how the government would be run and presented to their godsons and clearly agreed by both parties before they even presented you to the party for primaries and subsequently to the people for the general election.
So for the godson to come out later and be crying wolves and shedding crocodile tears at the point of implementation of the unholy and corrupt agreement that he personally signed with his evil godfather in order to whip public sentiment is not only hypocritical to me but also insanity, cowardice and foolishness of the highest order.
So, to stop the menace of godfatherism in our political system, godsonism should be eliminated first.
If you stop submitting yourself to be godson to any godfather, and rather present yourself to the masses to elect you,all this nonsense of godfatherism of a thing will stop automatically.
But you cannot personally in your right senses signs corrupt agreement with your so called godfather because of your selfish interests and later come out to cry for people like us to pity you.
God forbid,I cannot support and pity you in anyway.
You wanted a personal agreement and personal agreement shall you keep!
I like how you have articulated your view. Very well said, and I find it hard to disagree. And thank you for the new word - godsonism!

Having said that you do know that there's more than one way to skin a cat. Some strategists will tell you to stoop to conquer, to get into bed with the devil in order to stab him at night, to pretend to work with evil in order to defeat it, etc.

All said and done, the question still remains: yes you have signed that evil agreement. What says you cannot arrive at an epiphany, or change your mind when you see just how evil it is?

Moreover, what exactly is wrong with stabbing in the back a person who has also stabbed all his own godfathers and benefactors in the back? Wike has betrayed all his own helpers so why should anyone be bothered if he is now being betrayed by anyone he helped? You have to see both sides.

Finally remember the case of Chris Ngige. Do you remember it well?

Look, it just may be idealistic to think that one can get political power without entering into some unholy pacts in Nigeria. But I say, if you do, break them without mercy.

Your first paragraph provides the answer to the quagmire we find here-a godson wanting to renege on whatever agreement he entered into with his Godfather.

If you cannot offer "loyalty" to a godfather, then don't be a god son! Simple! People like you want us to believe that you can dine with the devil with a long spoon then come back to tell us to do the "right thing".

So, there is no picking a side but just saying the REALITY: godson won't win this fight with his Godfather and the biggest losers will be the Rivers people.

This circles me back to what I told you earlier, we might not necessarily be supporting a Wike but we are saying "fighting" him only makes it worse for Fubara. This has nothing to do with your self-righteous pontifications cos this is the reality on ground.

He should find a political solution around the hole he dug himself into. Well, I admire the fact that you will "resign" but your beloved Fubara won't and if he does he won't be coming back.

Let me remind you what Wike said about Fubara: he reminded us that he is an Ijaw minority and only in Bayelsa will they win elections by their numbers. Fubara didn't dispute this and can't dispute this.

Those are the REALITIES that I will keep reminding you of because if you carry ant-infested firewood... to you it is perfectly ok to vilify Wike but saying that Fubara got himself into this mess, it means we support corruption.

You come off as a politically naive person and since you'll support a Fubara with the full knowledge of the system that brought him onboard (Godfather system), then you are no different from the lot and should have just stayed away from this conversation.

Wike did this and that doesn't change the prevailing political reality that Fubara faces.

There are some fights you don't get into...people will call you coward but It's better you stoop and don't attempt to conquer until...

The odds are stacked against Fubara. Wike having the House of Assembly was to keep Fubara in check!

How do you beat that? He planned all the way! Fubara has no cards in this game! He has come to this realisation and I hope not too late.

Pray, tell us, how you intend to "break them without mercy" with all the odds stacked against Fubara?

Ok...ooo, your points are duly noted.
But if you are to break them (unholy pacts) without mercy as you said,do so only when you are in advantageous position, least it backfire like in this case of Fubara and his godfather.

From your last paragraph, is a waste of time journeying together with you over this matter...
Your major desire is to see loyalty given to whom it should be giving to without minding the consequences.....( This is the area am battling with you which to me smells of corruption and a retrogressive projection of a better society ...)

I would have loved a Nigerian where in such cases, we all should come out and support Fabura, cut of this so called god fatherism that has yeilded this country nothing but more hunger and backwardness...

But each time I found out that the system that put the No 1 into the office and the system that made Rivers State to turn to APC State overnight because of Presidential election and the system that made Wike a Minister and the same system that made you to support this whole system.....

Then I can't but shake my head in disbelief and in soberness because the same people who we feel want a better Nigeria is the same people who want the worst of Nigeria....

God fatherism ended in Anambra State.....whyhuh

Because the good people of Anambra State fought it with the then seating Governors, Dr Chris Ngige and Mr Peter Obi against the political godfathers that hijacked Anambra State then....

Today, there is nothing like God father in Anambra State...go and check the kind of development in Anambra State as of today....

I expect people like you who think they know politics too well by calling others "naive" to tell me the meaning of Politics in Nigeria if not catering for the well being of the Masses....

Tomorrow, you will come out asking for your State votes , promising heaven on earth but inside you, your heart is decayed to the bone marrow concerning the well-being of your people ..

Your kind should be found among those that took the judgement of the Ghana country against their Political hawkers and vultures....

Nigeria can never get a breath of fresh air with souls like you either supporting or being leaders of this country....read my lips...

A Political god son is not a slave, he has the right to change some things according to how good he wants to be to his people than telling him to remain a devil in the gathering of his people....

You better have a change of heart if you want a better Nigeria or we all see to the decay of Nigeria which is already DECAYING!!!!!!!!

Actually, our conversation ended after your last riposte, I only replied you out of pure courtesy. You just didn't know it.

You can bask all you want in your idealism but it doesn't change the facts on ground that confronts Fubara. Somewhere in your mind you have divorced this facts (this is the problem) and in your self righteousness see everyone who asks "oh how did we get here?" as "corrupt". Well-done Pharisee!

Interestingly, Fubara already told folks like you to SHUT UP but you are too blinded by infantile emotions to read the room! I hope you read his memo? Just incase you didn't, read here
( https://www.nairaland.com/8422691/creating-more-problems-me-fubara ) and don't forget to call him corrupt too for saying the same same thing I have been trying to drum in your ears!

I see you brought up Anambra and if you think "simply supporting" the sitting Governor and in this case, where he is the architect of his misfortunes, this is the height naivety! How are the REALITIES of Anambra and Rivers same? How?

You see why I said you are politically naive and you should get off your high horse and smell the coffee like Fubara has?

You say a political son is not a slave! Unfortunately, in this case he is! Yes read that again! He is held by the jugular! Like really tight!

You obviously think life panders to your idealistic propensity. Mr. you are old enough to know that's not the case.

Don't come on Nairaland and pontificate self righteously about what should or shouldn't be obtained in Rivers State concerning this matter, go mobilize the people to "support Fubara" so that you can magically have him back in the government house just cause you have a precedent in Anambra. (Don't make me laugh abeg)

I want a better Nigeria just like you and acknowledging hard cold facts of this particular matter or any other matter doesn't necessarily mean one supports corruption and idealism wouldn't change facts either. So your pharisaic rhetoric on this matter is nothing but a cheap perfume on a decaying corpse.

I don free you, go play!
