- Bank 1: -13% ( slightly lean mixture, meaning the engine is using less fuel than expected)
- Bank 2: -20.03% (more significantly lean mixture, indicating the engine is using even less fuel than expected)

*LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trim)*

- Bank 1: -0.8% (almost neutral, indicating the engine is using the expected amount of fuel)
- Bank 2: 52.3% (very rich mixture, meaning the engine is using significantly more fuel than expected)

In summary:

- Bank 1 is running slightly lean (using less fuel) in the short term, but almost neutral in the long term.
- Bank 2 is running significantly lean in the short term and very rich in the long term.

This could indicate issues like:

- Faulty fuel injectors
- Clogged air filters
- Vacuum leaks
- Ignition problems
- Sensor malfunctions

Maybe you made a mistake here sir, I think negative fuel trims points to higher fuel consumptions and the Ecu is trying to subtract that

My 2AZ Engine is shorting oil and there is sign of oil in the radiator. Looking at the cost of replacing the engine, should I rebuild the engine and if I rebuild, will it last long?

Please advise me.

P107B – Tacoma/Highlander 2017 – 2022 – Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (Low)/ Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor ‘B’ Circuit/Stuck Range Performance


This codes comes for these 2 brands and on diagnostic tools it might show different narration.

Had a Tacoma with high MPG. Scanning shows P107B, which is fuel related issues. After series of test driving I told the customer to opt for full Tune up Service @122k miles. Which includes replacing all these parts;

Spark plugs
Servicing the Noozle
Air Filter
Replacing the Fuel Rail Pressure sensor
Replacing the Fuel Pump and Filter
Draining the Engine oil and filter
Brake Pads
After Tuneup the code was reset and also driven to see if it will come back up, but for close to 45minutes of driving within the possible scenarios it was confirmed to be ok and the MPG is back to normal.

According to Toyota forum, replacing the fuel pump was the right thing to do.

I have never imagined I will see an engine with 4 different spark plug like the one you took out from that Toyota.

Tell the customer never to go back to his old mechanic.
