Nigeria and Brazil signed a $1 billion agreement on Tuesday to boost agriculture, food security, energy and defence in the West African nation, Nigeria's vice president Kasim Shettima said.
Both countries aim to "deploy over $1 billion to deliver mechanised farming equipment, training, and service centres across Nigeria," Shettima said in a statement.

AVOID VISA APPLICATION TO USA IN 2026

Nigeria is currently included in the expanded U.S. travel restrictions list. While Nigerians are not completely banned from traveling to the U.S., there are significant limitations: visas are harder to obtain, green card and citizenship applications have been suspended, and non‑immigrant visas are now restricted to short validity periods.

Multiple Entry Visas: Brazil and India 👏👏👏

In February 2026, Brazil and India formally activated a reciprocal agreement that extends the validity of visitor and business visas from five to ten years.

This change allows citizens of both countries to use a single multiple-entry visa for an entire decade, significantly reducing the cost and paperwork for frequent travelers.

While the visa lasts longer, the stay limits remain the same: up to 90 days for tourism and up to 180 days per year for business.

This diplomatic move is part of a broader strategy to double bilateral trade to $30 billion by 2030 and strengthen ties between the two emerging economies.

Existing five-year visas remain valid until they expire, at which point travelers can apply for the new ten-year version.

If you are a Nigerian with a Brazil Passport, more wins for you.
