All the criticism of him was that he was poor in midfield which he was. In his last season under ETH, He was crashing the box and getting goals for us when he was played in a more advanced role. I think he got 10 goals or so. The problem is we always played him in a midfield pivot. Most of his time in the academy, he played in advanced positions or sometimes even striker and he showed it for the first team as long as you dont have him in midfield trying to control play he can be a useful goal getter.

You are the one that tried to downplay Conte's achievements at Napoli instead of just accepting and giving the man his flowers for winning the league with "Ghostominay" as the best player in the Serie A.

Meanwhile, your fave's Portugese brother that can be compared, joined lowly Wolves in December and has already outperformed him in the league.
