I'm not for any party in Nigeria. But it's unfair for Atiku to take advantage of the ignorant majority.
His administration under Obansanjo also collected 4.9 million dollars as medium long term loan from IMF after borrowing a billion dollars 2 years earlier.

In as much as Atiku is making sense here I still won't support his critics cox of his ulterior motives. This man will be the worst president ever if he ever grace that position.

What debt has ebilokan paid off compared to what Atiku and Obasanjo paid off in their PDP administration?

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Why did you forget to explain how this criticism of ebilokan’s senseless borrowings to loot, is not beneficial to the masses huh

How have all these loans by ebilokan and his APC shege predecessor changed your life and our lives for better since 2015?

The Federal Government says it has no intention to borrow from any local or foreign organisation with its removal of subsidy on petrol and exchange rate harmonisation.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Chief Wale Edun, revealed this at the end of the inaugural Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday in Abuja.

He said that the benefit of the subsidy removal would be ploughed back into various sectors aimed at boosting government revenue and improving the business environment for local and foreign investment.

Edun said that with the increased revenue from subsidy removal, various palliatives have been made available to cushion its effect on a short, medium and long-term basis.

He reiterated the President Bola Tinubu-led administration’s desire to bring back the economy from the wood it has found itself over time.

Honestly the loans are too much ?

What if the world order decides to go digital/electronic with currency and would wipe out our loans by inflating our currency to reciprocate the loans we owe.

For example $1= 3000naira and we now owe zero. And digital currency enaira is established.

We are setting ourselves up for disaster.

He's making a mess of the national treasury
Just imagine planning to borrow $24bn in one fell swoop
Even Buhari was not this reckless
Then what is the essence of punishing us with subsidy removal or better put price hike of public goods which has resulted in hyperinflation, making life unbearable for Nigerians
What is the gain of sacrificing Nigerians in all these

Only kids accuse others of being kids. The kids I mean hear is immaturity not children. You are immature that's why you support anything in government. If you can support a whole Buhari for 8years, means you are just a self-centered kid

At least Alhaji is doing a good job as attack dog....he should just keep barking at every opportunity. 2027, we know say Atiku don already buy party presidential candidate for 3 different parties. But insha Allah, Atiku will be retired for good. So someone like Kwakwanso, Dauda Lawal, Ribadu, or Shetima can take over and continue the good works of PBAT.
