Halliburton showed up in the 4th when it mattered most and took over on both ends. What a defensive performance by Nembhard on Brunson. He took him out of the entire game.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:40am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:He is a decent baller but not close to AD. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:42am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Roland17:Nesmith was the one locking Brunson all series. I was surprised to see Nembhard doing the same tonight. The Pacers just have many guys making things happen. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:44am On Jun 01, 2025 |
The New York Knicks fans celebrated like they've won the NBA Championship after defeating the Boston Celtics ![]() They celebrated like the job was finished when indeed, job was not finished. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:46am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:Not close is a crazy thing to say. On what merits? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:47am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Pascal Siakam wins the Eastern conference MVP |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:48am On Jun 01, 2025 |
ECF MVP. Pascal Siakam |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:49am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:We're talking about AD who's a 4 time All NBA first teamer, 10 time All Star, 3 time blocks leader amongst others. AD has a crazy CV that is underrated. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:50am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Well deserved MVP for Siakam. His experience and composure kept the Pacers in this series at different times during this series. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:52am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:Neismith over the series slowed down after that ankle injury and struggled with his lateral movement. After his 2nd foul today, Carlisle switched it up and Nembhard stepped up. He shit down Brunson. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:54am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:Come on now. I can admit it’s not a gulf but AD is on another level if the comparison is Siakam. Nothing against Siakam, I love his game and the maturity in his game but AD despite his injury woes is on another level. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 3:56am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Roland17:True. That injury slowed Nesmith down. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:57am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:I don't care about all these things you dey list here. He's been a #2 all his life and needed LeBron to hold his hand. He's an elite talent but he's not an alpha dog. So it's not crazy to say Siakam is comparable. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:01am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Roland17:I don't see this level sha when it matter the most. I'm not saying Siakam is better than AD. But the way una react that year like say na crazy statement. Can you see that its not that crazy and AD game has not been matching the name |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:25am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:Na crazy statement bros |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:29am On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:Thats who they traded Luka no defense Donkey for |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 5:06am On Jun 01, 2025 |
birdman:And even when the trade happened, fans made it feel AD was worth nothing, highlighting only how it was a bad thing for Dallas to do. I get that AD is 30+ and nearing the end of his peak. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:07am On Jun 01, 2025 |
birdman:This says you're lying
|
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 5:10am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:He made 7 straight All star at NOP, made 3 of his 4 All NBA first team and won all 3 of his block champion there. I think you're judging him by the fact he played #2 to Bron in LA. It's so hard to play with LeBron and be the number 1 in the team. Luka is only doing that now because LeBron is 40 and cannot play with same strength/energy like he used to. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:44am On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:Ajala and the Lakers don’t win their Mickey Mouse ring without AD. AD was their best player in that finals series and it is still a travesty that he did not win the MVP. On both ends, AD is demonic on both ends, especially when you consider he is playing the 5, in comparison. I hate to go deep into this because I really love both players but AD is on another level to be honest. Again, nothing against Siakam. |

Who has seen the video of Haliburton moving forward to receive the ECFMVP award before Siakam's name was called? Baba thought it was him they would call ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:23am On Jun 01, 2025 |
steady986:Here it is.
|
| Re: The NBA Begins by Ridwan1821: 2:33pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
steady986:That shit is painful. I hope it will motivate him to play even better in the finals so he can win the FMVP if they beat OKC. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 2:36pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
No shade to Siakam, but he wasn't the MVP of the Eastern conference finals. That was Haliburton. This is looking like Iguodala 2015 all over again. Atleast, this isn't the NBA finals... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 4:01pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
It so happens that this season is one for first timers. PSG won the Champions league for the first time. Tottenham, the Europa league. The NBA title is about to be won by a team that has never won it before. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:24pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
Roland17:Siakam leading this Pacers team to the Finals tops whatever AD has done. He can always change my mind if he leads the Mavericks to the promise land Mind you Siakam did 20-7-3 in a finals series. They don't beat the Warriors without him either AD has failed to get his teams anywhere near the finals since. AD on paper is a generational talent but there has to be a point where the production is meeting the hype This other level I'm not seeing it. Where? When? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:27pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
Skrrrrrrr:Nope. Siakam was their most consistent player. Haliburton had 2 games under 15. They won a game where he only managed 14 points while Siakam scored 39 |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:44pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:Bro. Nobody cares about all of this. I already question his dog off rip just going to be a #2 with LeBronze. That's why he should never have gone to LA. A tier one talent should not be willingly going to play with a LeBronze that will dim your light. If he was that guy he would find a team to be a #1 so we wouldn't have to question if he can lead a team Look I'm not saying AD is not great I'm saying it's just crazy to say Siakam is not comparable to him when he's now been to two conference finals and a NBA Final as the #1 guy on his team. (Don't give me that Haliburton crap, when it comes to playoff Hoops I put higher premium on scorers that can go get their own bucket) |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:36pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
Ridwan1821:That award could have gone either way to be honest. They both deserved it |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:51pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
greypencils:That was Tottenham's third Europa league/UEFA cup. But I feel you |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 7:56pm On Jun 01, 2025 |
A40:Halliburton was only second in PPG to siakam. He was number one in every other statistical category..... So nope, their best player was clearly Halliburton.... |
