I believe it is our midfield we really need to enforce especially the defensive midfield. For me i believe we are ok with cunha.

Get lots of cover for the defense so that we don't let in goals like this season that just ended.

A team without a striker just won the champions League. Am not really fuss about getting a striker.
We should get a good defensive midfielder abd attacking midfielder.

🚨 Chelsea remain in contact with Jadon Sancho’s camp over contract terms, still no agreement on salary so far.

Final decision will be in few days, outcome expected next week.

If contract terms are not agreed, Sancho will go back to Manchester United with £5m compensation.

We need the money, but his contract with Man United is just remaining 1 year. If he refuses to find a club, he will be doing himself a disservice, he will not get any reasonable offer again. He better accept a decent offer from Chelsea, he seem to have settled there nicely

Yes, if we get those 3 players the attack would look much better.

We also need to sign a first choice GK.

Then add 2 CMs to potentially come in and start. I suspect that will be the most difficult part of the transfer window.

I don't think we will add any WBs or even CBs as things stand.

No oo for Man Utd matter, once the board buy players once, they must not buy again. The manager must miraculously make those players world class.

We definitely are not signing defenders this transfer window. Our priority in that defense should be a first choice GK.

Net spend depends on sales plus purchases. Since United hardly sell their players for anything tangible and often overpay for their targets, their net spend will definitely be on the high side. It doesn’t mean they’ve been wiser in the transfer market.

When we won the treble in 99, we had 4 really good strikers even though only 2 can play - Yorke, Cole, Ole and one other guy.

When we won the double in 2008, we had that fearless attack with enough cover for most positions.

Today, we’ve got an inexperienced attack, with youth players being thrusted to deliver every week. But since our net spend is on par with City ‘in the last five years’, let’s fold hands and wait for the stressed monkey to defecate akara and honey.

Irrespective of who the coach is or whatnot, we should continue investing intelligently in the squad this summer.

Last season we brought in about 5 defenders who could play for the first team or at least do a shift for some period (DeLigt, Mazraoui, Yoro, Dorgu, and Heaven?).

This season , we need at least 1 midfielder who can start and 2-3 attackers who can start, depending on outgoing. We are too thin in attack.
