Na the board representative for here you dey follow talk oo.

Left to nitrogen, if na only 20m the club spend, he's happy.
But last week you were saying Mbeumo was a bad idea and that you would rather keep Rashford than sign him.

The initial plan was Cunha, Delap and Mbuemo/Semenyo. We will definitely add a striker then outgoings will determine what position to focus on next.
We are not serious if all we are looking to do is provide competition and not REPLACE onana
Dude is an irredeemable calamity and we'll do nothing with him in goal
GK should be a priority position for me considering the backup is rubbish too

Me don't like Mbuemo, I have stated my opinion and that's that.

You want to know why we finished 15th?

— We conceded only 7 more goals than Newcastle, yet they scored 24 more than us.

— We conceded only 3 more goals than Aston Villa, yet they scored 14 more than us.

Newcastle finished 5th. Villa came 6th. And United? 15th.

The reason is simple: our forwards couldn’t score.

A lack of quality up front, combined with INEOS’ baffling decision to offload two attackers in January without replacements, left Amorim looking like a clown.

With Cunha, Mbeumo, and possibly Gyökeres coming in, don’t be surprised when we’re fighting for top 4 next season.

Copied on Twitter… I implore everyone to read this.
No be wetyn I dey talk since?

Other teams concede goals too. Our problem was that we were not scoring.

The quest to be the one that called it right is driving some of you nuts...On what basis is the potential signing of one of the best players in the league just this past season shitty?
Lol. Did I complain about the Cunha deal? You don’t know what you are saying.

There's no where you will sign a winger coming on the back of a season after scoring 20league goals and providing 7assist in a top league like England for 40m. Sesko and ekitike with 13 and 14league goals in bundesliga are being prized for 70 to 80million. Let's be realistic for once.

As for his stats the upper season he had 9goals and 6 assist in 25games. Those are good stats for a winger at Brentford. What you will notice is constant progression and he might just be entering his prime.
Anyways, it’s a feeling. I hope I am wrong. Also, hoping we don’t overpay for him.

I really don't understand him. As a fan, he should be happy the club is going after players who have shown they can do it in a team that's not all that. You Wolves and Brentford play and you easily notice that they don't have the best players to compete for top honors but then again, anytime you watch them, you notice Cunha and Mbeumo almost always show up no matter the opposition...That's why I am impressed...
Haha, Wolves and Brentford players should be our targets now? Issokay. I no get energy to argue today.

Is Cunha better than Mbeumo? I don't think so, I think Mbeumo is slightly better, but most importantly, they were key men in their respective clubs, meaning that they could do even better with a better supporting cast.

You seem to dismiss the signing as one that won't work out here for no just reason. If the signing of Mbeumo means we will not sign a CF then, I will understand why you have reservations and even I will do but it's not the case here at least from what the press is saying.

See where you get it all wrong, so typical of the majority of the fanbase. Where have all the top players we have been signing from top teams taken us to? City are going after Reijnders, Cherki, Air Nouri and Livaramento but I don't see anyone complaining...If we were the ones signing those players and City signing Cunha and Mbeumo, I am sure you'd still criticise the team for signing players from Lyon, Milan and Wolves...

Some of you have written so many trashy things about Amorim that you are now praying the club has a disastrous transfer window so that we can go into the new season with the same set of players and record the same results, so that you can be proven right...Let the man have his players, then we will be able to fairly judge him...

Nawa o. Na fight? Amorim will get his players. Although, I wanted him gone before the end of last season. The board did not sack him, so they must give him players. I just hope we are signing the right players for Amorim and/or any other person that might takeover from him. Because, there is no funds to waste. Our transfers must hit 7/10 in terms of quality, otherwise, this current wilderness will become our home!

I don’t usually criticize players. So, forget about whatever agenda you think I have regarding any player. Na crime to get a bad feeling about one or two out of several transfers that we’ve had or will have?

My position is clear. A good manager will make a team of average players (with one or two superstars) succeed. We don’t need all 11 players to be the best. That’s why I am always targeting the manager as there has been no point where we had a below average (as in below top 7) team.

Btw, I remember how people all over celebrated most of ETH signings including dropping various formations and set ups with those players. If you can’t remember, ask Oasis. He was/is their leader! We go dey alright.

No time baba

Even if he won the WC with Spurs lol, that 16th position finish would always be unacceptable at serious clubs with Ambition.

Regardless of investment, 16th would always be unacceptable..especially when Conte finished 4th in that same club with the players he met on ground mid season.

Those are the standards expected..not the ones fuelled by sentiments and emotions.

If the board and the manager wants him, what's my own?

Nitrogen is saying it's a shitty deal because of the amount quoted in the improved deal, not that he has any reservation about him like I do.

Bro do you realise United will not play European football next season? What type of player can we realistically attract without paying crazy transfer fee plus crazy salary? United finished 15th this season, it will take pure love or financial inducement to convince our major targets to join. Make you try dey calm down
Noo you are right. We cant buy Cherki now, with the signing of cunha and Mbeumo. My point is for our online fans who said he has attitude issues. I think i prefer the Mbeumo and Cunha to Compared to Cherki TbH.

Go and check his stats for seasons before the 24/25 season. If we want to go for a merc, we target established ones especially for 60m. This guy might underperform for us and we would be back to this point next summer.

I am hoping Amorim won’t have him replace Rasmus upfront or top strike him with Rasmus in a 3-5-2, because I don’t believe we will sign a new striker after getting Mbeumo and Cunha. Anyways, if we are to sign the guy, should be for max of 40m.
Who Should we sign as a striker to replace Hojlund please

Lindelöf and Evans are gone. I don't trust Shaw and Martinez to be fit for a full season so we need a fit CB who can play left of the back 3 or Central...I am also thinking of the fitness/availability of De Ligt, I don't want us to depend on Maguire, Yoro and Mazrouni as the ever-present for a season. However, if Amorim thinks Martinez and Shaw are options to trust, we can start the search for a goalie to replace Onana.
Honestly, I would have loved one more CB, we seem to need urgent reinforcements in other areas especially GK

This was about the same age Mane and Salah went on rampage. And Salah is still ripping the EPL till now he is 33. Any player who scored 20 goals in EPL as a winger is an Elite player and 60m total package is about right.
