My dad didn't have friends when he was alive . He used to live a triangle life ,home ,work and church .

While I have friends and party once in a while ,I don't mingle much and not interested in small talk .

Anxious and fear of failing....from my Dad

The man was always proactive and find it difficult remaining calm if things are not going well as planned. Reason why he takes time to put things in order before any event. This also happens to me..... fear of uncertainty and what the future holds. My father started talking to me about the future why I was still in primary 5 and said he wouldn't want to see me struggle and not achieve success. Funny enough, I started engaging my children about their future and what they should do to succeed, which I attribute to fear of unknown and uncertainties.

Then from my mum, Stealth and too much sense. kiss

I think my Lord Jesus has remarkably helped me to overcome anger, bitterness, pride, love of money/greed, selfishness, fear/worry a lot so far. Still not perfect, though. But striving till the end. Especially the love of people's opinions, approval, honour, etc. It's a daily fight...

I inherited a character of not borrowing money from anyone, I'd rather sort it out on my own, this I inherited from mum, and i easily let go of something if it's detrimental to my peace.

I inherited not being social from my dad, he doesn't like being disturbed while sleeping or when he's in comfort zone, me too am not kinda social person. Though am trying to overcome it because it's affecting my relationship.

It shouldn't affect anything. You are who you are. Not being social shouldn't rob you of any relationship.

If the lady is looking for a social bird, let her go out there, there are many people like that- Tom, d1ick and harry. She can go find them in clubs and bars.

The lady who understands you and want a reserved man will find you.

Don't change your social attitude for any relationship else you will struggle. I learnt this the hard way.

I just don't understand what love means in conventional sense of it especially when I see grown ass men acting like fools all in the name of what they call love.
I only see it as a form of weakness.

I used to be like that too. But there was a time I felt really lonely. I began to pay attention to people that love me (mostly women).

That did the trick. I am still not a lover at heart, but in action. But, I am a good actor, and I will make you feel loved without ever believing in feelings. But, I believe in keeping to ones words and being responsible for others. That to me, is love.

I think those who caught deep feelings for me did so because of how deep I studied them and fix them up without appearing weak myself most of the time. Never because of feelings, cause I don't have it.
