Incredible game. OKC are in a very tight spot now. I still believe if Gordon was healthy Game 7 the Nuggets might have most likely beaten them. They are giving frontrunner vibes. Almost everytime OKC is in a tight game they fold The energy Toppin, Mathurin and McConnell bring off the bench is another underrated aspect to observe. Game 4 let's see how it goes. If Pacers win just crown them Champs |

I think I just found my Team. Indiana Pacers. For a little context, this is my first ever NBA playoffs that I'm following bumper to bumper. I didn't follow regualar season but I've devoted more time to this series than the just concluded Uefa champions league. I also watch the TNT crew for follow up. However, my first foray into basketball was in 2004. I watched San Antonio spurs and I know Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. (saw him for Argentina also at Athens Olympics) but I don't think I'm Spurs. I also know Detroit Pistons ONLY because there's a particular guy in that team with a face mask, like Osimhen. I don't know his name, but I vividly remember him... Circa 2004 ish. But I always support Boston Celtics, partly because green is my favorite color and I have a Larry bird jersey 🤷, however, this series made me realize my love for them is not Organic. Now to the Pacers. I first saw them against Giannis bucks, then I fell in love against the knicks(maybe because most don't give them a chance) I don't know. But when I watch them I feel it. So that's it. Basically all my career in the NBA and I'm stanning the Pacers henceforth. Till thy kingdom come. Funny enough, last week I bought a Pacers mural at the mall. Hanged it in my car.. Didn't plan to, just saw it and I knew I was a Pacers. ![]() Thanks you guys. |

Starboytwo:I think you mean Richard "Rip" Hamilton. While considered a small market franchise, the Pacers have always been known to be blue-collar, tough playing guys. Hopefully, they welcome your fandom with a Championship this year. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 7:39pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Roland17:This year NBA final didn't carry the hype like some NBA finals. Maybe because both teams are "small market teams". |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Starboytwo(m): 7:45pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Roland17:yeah... Hamilton.. That's him Thanks you very much... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:47pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
larride:It is actually why and it isn't their fault. Both teams are the best in the league and they are showing it thus far with how they have matched up. Both teams are also changing the narrative of stacking up superstars before you can win. They are going to reshape how rosters will be constructed in the coming seasons at least. There is going to be more focus on the intelligence of head coaches versus stacking up superstars. |

When it was confirmed that Pacers would matchup with OKC, my guy was like oh Shai would have an absolute stellar year with the trophy..I was like calm down small oh, this Pacers, tho not as fancy as OKC but they can really win this ish... On Friday, we shall all by consensus know who gon win this ish.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by nomorespams: 8:57pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
Roland17:I beg to differ Sir on just your fact that Pacers are the best in the league. Pacers are very good but they are not the best in the league. Infact I want to say smth that might sound outlandish but maybe not so much... "If Pacers were to go through the West, I seriously doubt they would be reppin the West". |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:35pm On Jun 12, 2025 |
nomorespams:This has become a popular narrative used to discredit the East and teams that compete in it. The NBA is all about eras and right now the West is dominating, however, the East look prime to take over with some of its better teams. The East owned and dominated the NBA in the 80s, 90s and portions of the 2000s and that is how many teams in the West ended up with the Superstars that have helped the West hold sway. Right now, with a healthy roster, match 1-5 in both conferences and tell me which conference would have the most wins in a 7 game series. Cavs v Thunder Boston v Rockets Knicks v Lakers Pacers v Nuggets Bucks v Clippers The Pacers will not rep the West but they are not only competing hard against the best team from the West but are up a game. You play what is in front of you and how the competition is designed. If it was by your narrative, the Thunder should be sweeping the Pacers. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 3:40am On Jun 13, 2025 |
Roland17:They should've found a replacement before letting go of Thibs. They will find a coach though, NY na huge market even with the crazy media and pressure, they will get one. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:53am On Jun 13, 2025 |
Roland are you seeing this? Oilers from 3 goals down now up 4-3 Changed that basket of a goalie Skinner after the first intermission and Picard has pitched a shutout ever since. He really stood on his head that second period, 12 saves If I'm the coach no way Skinner is starting again. This replacement gives them a better shot |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:05am On Jun 13, 2025 |
Bruh. This Panthers squad like Thanos. Tied the game with an empty net. 2 straight minutes and the Oilers could not even make a shot attempt at the empty net. Unbelievable I fully expect the Panthers to win it now Conor McDavid has ghosted this full series. We are going to have some uncomfortable conversations about him after this series if the Oilers lose |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:05am On Jun 13, 2025 |
A40:The Oilers just conceded with seconds to finish the game. Another OT. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:38am On Jun 13, 2025 |
Draisaitl calls game. Unbelievable. They were on the back foot all overtime Literally stole this game |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:15am On Jun 13, 2025 |
A40:Series tied 2-2. This had been an unbelievable series. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by nomorespams: 8:43am On Jun 13, 2025 |
Roland17:I totally get you Man. Especially on the Era part. And you only just endorsed my fact with the Era part..as of now the West is tougher than the East, it is what it is.. But lol with those matchups you put, the west will still get the most wins.. Thunder will beat Cavs WEST Nuggets will beat Pacers WEST Clippers will beat Bucks WEST But that's my opinion tho'. Anyways today is the real finals..can't wait! |

A40:Doesn't drive enough to the paint and when he is in the paint its mostly to get assists.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:20am On Jun 14, 2025 |
Siakam doing the heavy lifting again. Y'all will now tell me Haliburton shoulda been MVP where we can see Siakam working |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:23am On Jun 14, 2025 |
nomorespams:He's too inconsistent. He should be a 20-22 ppg guy. He's lucky he's got teammates that consistently bail him out |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:27am On Jun 14, 2025 |
Nembhard has to make All Defensive Team, 2nd team at worst! This man has been impossible! The Thunder are struggling against the Pacers small line up with Obi. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by nomorespams: 3:28am On Jun 14, 2025 |
A40:He's talented,no doubt. He'll be alright with time, most especially if he wins this championship. OKC literally can't find their 3pt shot...not looking good for em.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:32am On Jun 14, 2025 |
OKC are the anti 3pt spamming. 1 3pter after 3 and half quarters is crazy work. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:32am On Jun 14, 2025 |
nomorespams:Points in the paint is what's helping them |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:37am On Jun 14, 2025 |
Rick Carlisle activated his stingy, stifling defense after game 2 loss. They are suffocating the Thunder, feeding them a portion of their own poison. |
