For moulding of block, block laying, foundation , plastering, etc; this will consumed not less than 100 bags of cement for this house.That is above 1m already. Not to talk of roofing, plumbing and finishing.

As an Experienced Engr/Building Contractor you need ₦3.5m to build that house, with Borehole and septic tank. Thanks

Stop exaggerating . You don't need more than 23 bags of cement to get 900 blocks if you mould 40 blocks / bag . I don't know what you will do with 3 turns of sand when 10 tons tipper of sand is ok which at most doesn't cost more than 130 k . You people should stop discouraging those who need to do something

500k nigerian naira can never ever build this. Let's be even very modest. 2000 blocks at 700 each i.e 500 plus 200 transport is 1.4 million, cement at 10600 with transport for arranging the house and cementing the building will be at least 40 bags totalling 424,000. 7 lorries of sharp sand at 700,000. We never talk iron rod, workmanship of bricklayers, wood to do the roofing, carpenter fee etc. Minimum to build this house is 5 million to 10 million.

I just finished renovation of a carcass 3 bedroom structure. It wasn't funny. The kind of thieves you will encounter once you say "building" ehn... you will think you committed an offence and they were sent to defraud you as punishment.

Basically, if you want to build, buy everything yourself. Negotiate with a passion. Distrust everyone. Supervise everything.

Between 8 to 10million if you already have the land. Landscaping not included. The wc and plumbing must be highly economical for that budget to work too

Alot of novice here who know next to nothing about building are just calling anyhow figures just because they heard things are too expensive from some dubious contractors.

The picture up there is one bedroom apartment with no special design or pillers. With 2.5 or 3 million naira, you should be able to do everything from A -Z.
