Not only him can make Oyo State better. He needs councilors and House of Assembly members that are upright, exposed, and not corrupt. The same thing will go with commissioners he would choose.

He has to come from a political party that is not known at all and which doesn’t have godfather.

With these and more, he may be able to pull some strings of development in Oyo State.

Honestly, I don’t see what our state governor do, after paying salaries and doing a few less quality roads and signature bridges in state capitals. Other towns and villages are left to rot and can go to heelll, even though they are using local governments’ fund to ‘run’ the state.

The little fame Oriyomi got has enter his head. I believe he will know his level thereafter. Nigeria politics is beyond Gbenusi mic. One time, not several times. Seyi Makinde contested and lost his first governorship election in 2015, but later won the following elections in 2019 and 2023.

Seyi Makinde contested and lost in 2015 on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

He then went on to win the governorship election in 2019 and 2023 on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
