In as much as the driver was wrong...the agbero is the reason for the accident and death... why drag a the steering of a moving vehicle, even if the driver is violating traffic laws ... u don't do that .... or will u say police men should start shooting indiscriminately towards armed robbers on the run, knowing fully that their are people moving around ...u don't endanger peoples lives, just cos you wanna stop an offence

Well 2years ago,I was chased by police for good 30mins. I later doubles crossed them and drove one way at top speed, I escaped. On my way home by 6pm .there was traffic n due to the trauma I couldn't risk it,I drove one way again with my drivers door wide open, funny enuf it was on a Friday just along a police station road.that day,the devil tool over me and I was ready to die..las las I still escaped,BT the time police saw me,I was long gone.i had to abandon the car for 8months as word on the street waszthey were looking for the driver and my car. Hahaha.i too love naija abeg. I felt like a mopol that day. Untouchable, unstoppable

My brother, two wrongs cannot make a right. If a driver is driving against traffic and you try to stop him and he doesn't stop, the rule is that, try and ensure you identify him and the vehicle. You can pick or snap his plate number. You can trail him to the next traffic and apprehend him without resorting to dragging steering wheel with him. As law enforcement agents, they're to ensure safety and enforce compliance and not cause havoc.

Law enforcement should be by Govt-recognised Law enforcement officers in uniform, not by agberos.
Allowing agberos to enforce laws is sign of lawlessness.

there's nowhere in the world where law enforcement allows you to drag steering while a vehicle is in motion simply because of scenarios like this. We should stop making excuses for this barbarism and equip the traffic police with proper equipments even as far as your ticket fines waiting for you at home after you think you have escaped

What right does an agbero have to start dragging the steering with a car owner? Even a policeman, road safety or LASTMA has no right to drag a steering with a driver.

No matter the work he is doing (which is basically collecting money), there is a limit to what you're allowed to do, besides that's not even a commercial vehicle, so I wonder what business they have together.
