According to him, some of the challenges the country is facing, especially insecurity, started before the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

“All the people talking today were at the helm of affairs, and things were growing. The poverty level in northern Nigeria grew from almost 50%, 15 years ago, to 70% on average as of 2023, and someone can look at me and tell me the problem was caused by Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Come on,” Governor Sani said.

And it grew from 70% to 90% under tinubu

Lagos had poverty rate of 69% under Tinubu.

By the time Tinubu is finished with you people, poverty rate in north will be 90%.

Poverty is now something that they celebrate in Nigeria. If someone had said a liter of petrol will be over 1k in this life time, everyone will call that person wicked.

As someone that has been to most Northern States, I do question the rationale behind likes of El-rufai trading words with the President over "bad governance".
Like Northern elites need to apologize to the rest of Nigeria for the rot and neglect in the region.

Baba what are you talking about abi na statistics go solve our problem na hin we need ? Those statistics sef people are like living at least better life even though their are some big problem as at then, so tell me what is the percentage of the poverty rate now since now people complain more than before, the problem is you people of this country always use grammar and English theory to tell lies and maneuver things
