The main positive from this result is that the SF ranking would improve, Portugal are ranked 22nd, while the SF are 36th |

solonnachi:I didn't but she gave a good account of herself. Of course not like yesteryears but she still has some left in the tank. |

Deltamani:Not necessarily gk, but one good performer from there. These ones too are not bad either. |

PDPGuy:It will be a tragedy if the Midfield performance at this upcoming Wafcon is below or equal with the 2022 wafcon own that messed up and changes had to be made. |

daveP:Unlike 2022, our (likely) starting midfield trio of Ayinde, Echegini, and Ucheibe would be major upgrade. |

Ucheibe was guilty of a couple of those unforced errors, truth be told. I still believe that the midfield could have done with an additional enforcer (like Favour Emmanuel) in place of Ijamilusi or Ordega (in spite of her performance today). Considering the fact that the North America contingent of Oshoala, Ihezuo, Chioma, Deborah, Alozie and Esther were absent, as well as not having any training session before this game, I thought they acquainted themselves well. Over the next 2 weeks of intense training before the start of the competition, the team should be able to work out most of the cobwebs and should be ready for the challenge ahead. KosiGee: |

PDPGuy:Location for this match? And what's our itinerary going forward? Continue camping in Portugal or move straight to Morocco? |

Overall, a good game yesterday. Franny was a big surprise. Mama still got it surprisingly. I've never been a fan of Onumonu due to her lethargic performance up top. Okonkwo in her position yesterday and we would have got a goal in. I hope she prove me wrong in Wafcon though. Excellent display by Chiamaka. Shukurat is good. I like her athleticism. Miracle, on the other hand didn't really impress. Stage fright maybe. I still want to see Ajibade in midfield please. Jenny/Tony can shift to the wing. |

ekehopp2:The game will be in Portugal, then after the match, they would move to Morocco |

mostob:Ordega flopped as a No 9 in the first half but was excellent when they switched her to her natural position in the second half- the wings. |

KosiGee:She has never shown a quality for Super Falcons. |

mostob:Onumonu had a good game though in my opinion. Ayinde and Plumptre's intros really solidified the team. I think Rinsola,Dupe and Echegini are capable of more than they did. |

I want to see the new girl Chioma play against Ghana on June 29th. |

BascoVanVeli:Good game by GM!!! That cramp at the end is why she wasn't invited fornthe AWCON. There was intelligence report of an impending injury scare that's why she was excused. On a serious note, Gift should have been invited. Who to drop for her, I don't know!!! |

Meanwhile as Chioma Okafor is still a student, can she collect camp allowances etc from 9ja? I remember this fine lady back then, Emenike's cousin couldn't receive money then cos she was playing college soccer. |

AndSunGorilla:I think rules have changed significantly since then. At the time student athletes couldn't legally earn while I'm school, now they get millions of dollars in NIL deals so it's very likely rules on this has changed too |
