'I Need A Husband' - 46-year-old Nigerian 'virgin' Cries Out by BlackViper(op): 4:52pm On Jun 25, 2025
A 46-year-old Nigerian woman broke down in tears while revealing she has never been married, is “still a virgin,” and is struggling with spiritual battles.

In a recent interview on Agidigbo FM, the woman, who chose to remain anonymous, said despite being hardworking and independent since her youth, she has faced constant rejection and isolation.

She shared her desire for a romantic partner, explaining that ‘I’m not the one pushing men away. Those who approach me either see me as too old or only want intimacy”.

“I have been making money since I was young. All of a sudden, everything went down. I am not the only child of my parent. There are many, but I am the only one still with her. The other children also have challenges. I am 46 years old. I have never had sex. If there’s anything you can use to test me, you can do it,” she said.

I am not the one pursuing the men away from me. I am selling goods. I do not like following men all around, but I do know how to run after men. Three years ago, I discovered that men see me as an aged woman.

“When children see me, they call me grandma. I noticed that it was becoming too much. That is why I am here for you to help me.”

She said she believes her struggles may be spiritual, recalling a prayer session where she was told “a veil has been placed over me, blocking my blessings”.

“I have gone to the mountains to pray about it. During one of the prayer sessions, I was told a veil had been used to cover me and had not allowed me to receive help,” she said.

Only married men approached me. And they only want sex.”

It is obvious that her virginity is not the reason she is still unmarried.

Many issues with her:
1.
No father.

2.
Her sibling also has issues which are not disclosed.

3.
Children call her grandma, meaning she looks older than her age, even as she has not given birth. 46 is normally not old enough to be mistaken for a grandma.

Well, all I can say is, I hope her case is not feminism induced.

You don't need a husband. You need someone that loves you, or rather you should learn to Iove yourself, then you would not need a husband, but rather a partner in the true sense.

These kind of wicked talk should be among what kept her unmarried till age 46! Person say she's looking for husband, you say she doesn't need husband. Continue with your evil counsel. Maybe if she was your sister you would understand her plight better.

I pray she gets her desires fulfilled soonest. It's not a pleasant situation at all.

You have to start from somewhere my dear.

There is nothing wrong if some men only want you for sex. You should know sex can be a trap Just look at how these young ladies dress to attract men.

If you pampered a couple of them you like or dislike lease, he may keep your company. What you need is a companion not a husband.

She will get married and bear kids. However, let her and her future husband save enough for IVF.

If she is lucky she could have triplets on the first trial.

End of story.

Lol. She should have attached her picture to her article so we can check something. 😅😅

On a serious note, even her mindset is scary. Talk of "spiritual battle", for example, will incidentally scare away men into marriage.

Who wants a 'mentalo' as a wife and mother of his kids?

I repeat, she does not need a husband. She will come to regret it.

She said she needs a husband and you that is not in her shoes keep repeating that she does not need a husband....listen my dear sister, forget whatever experience you have had with some guys in the past or present....if you are fortunate and wise enough to attract a worthy husband, you will thank God everyday of your life. Forget stories....worthy husband take away a lot of worries from a woman that you may never know until you get to a certain stage in life.

I know not one not two, not three ladies; some not Nigerians but Americans seriously searching for husbands, not because they are broke or unemployed...these are well achieved ladies that can be classified as rich in the Nigerian term....so change your mentality about men....I am a married man and I am a blessing to my wife, her family and even friends, yes.....let me brag small. And there are millions of worthy husbands-to-be that will even be better than me....pray to find one of such and you need to change your mindset, attitude and demeanor to attract them.

Don't champion this kind of toxic advice for single ladies....I have a pretty daughter and I pray to God everyday that she will marry at the right age and to the best man that will treat her well. I don't pray my daughter remains single for life, its not a good thing....so advising single ladies not to think about getting married is toxic, it doesn't always end well.

All the men you are seeing that are single now will definitely get married...none of them wish to die single....it is mostly financial lack and constraint that is stopping most from settling down...and some its inability to meet the right lady and others its cos of the fun of being a bachelor and having too many options of ladies.

Please change your mindset for your own good, all the best and thank you for your attention to this matter smiley

You want a man so you can jinx him too Madam go and fix your life first then you can now look for husband 😂

My advice to everyone out there stop doing shakara to anyone who propose to you cause when menopause and old age catches you it'll be too late to find a partner..

She should meet a man to impregnate her. Why all this stress of getting husband marriage is not for everyone. if she have given a man chance to impregnate her she would be very happy by now seeing her kid. Sometimes we miss calculate things and blame the world for our selfishness. undecided

That's why the men always get blindsided by their wives leaving them, or divorce proceedings , because they think their happiness automatically translates to the wife's happiness and well being, not knowing that the wife sacrifices her well being daily to make you happy.

It can really be a tough situation, wanting something that isn’t coming your way, so badly.

May her desire be granted soonest…

She felt because she’s still a virgin, she will see someone who wants to marry.
Her issue is her mentality all her along, she should work on that first.

it's simple mathematics, most of the men that come to approach you are actually married because they are your pair group. while those below your peer look at you as a mom or an auntie which they feel you're older than them. so it's not really spiritual, I feel you should just look into another aspect of getting a husband or romance with somebody that will lead to marriage especially a widower or divorcee.
