Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, have publicly declared an end to their prolonged political rift after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja, News360 Nigeria reports.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Wike confirmed that both camps had reached a truce. "We have all agreed to work together with the governor, and the governor has agreed to work with all of us. For me, everything is over," Wike said.

Governor Fubara also expressed optimism about the renewed peace in the state, assuring that the reconciliation would be sustained for the sake of Rivers people. "Peace has returned to Rivers State. We will do everything in our power to make sure we sustain it this time around," the governor stated.

The peace meeting comes after months of political tension in Rivers, marked by confrontations between supporters of both leaders.

If I were Fubara, I would have accepted this peace deal a long time ago and play my own tune in the background. There are ways to do things that fools the aggressor, making them think you are on their side, while pulling the strings unseen. Now, I believe Fubara would be wiser. You dont fight fire with fire.

For stealing purposes abi. You see why it's very important to allow the vote of the people to count. Look at Abia state and how it's rapidly growing and progressing from the current administration. The people's vote counted and not one godfather rigging in someone he will control. That's unfortunately the case of by beloved Rivers state. Fubara has finally agreed to:
1. Allow Wike to collect his monthly payments in billions of naira
2. To work for the thief in aso rock
3. To allow him lay hands on River's properties and resources at wii.
That is what is going to happen.

Just one man taking something that will better the lives of millions to himself and families.

God has a way to humble the wicked. Time shall tell.

Some people won't like this news and they'll probably not sleep this night.... At the end of the day, agreement is agreement... I see people saying it's all about money.... No be everything be money oh.... It's about power, once you lose it, it's difficult to get it back and that's why wike is fighting....
