Yes oh, when money has changed hands at the top and you impose a player on the Coach, you can't fault his reaction.
Lol. Don't be funny now 😂
Let me not talk further

I thought she was good
As we never see her brakelights, might simply be preference or lack of knowledge.

Deltamani:
Did you see her as a bad player??

The Coach didn’t play her doesn’t mean she wouldn’t get game time at the WAFCON. Let’s be patient WAFCON no far again..
At least for friendly she supposed see 5mins na. Especially if he doesn't intend to really use her in wafcon. Abi he trust her so much that her first rodeo is a wafcon game? Anyways we wait.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani:
From the Video they posted while about to enter the Bus before the game against Ghana yesterday, I think i saw a bandage on her left thigh, Though was having the mixed feelings that it’s her Underwear or something else don’t know.

I just hope she’s okay first.

Anyway Randy talked about the Super Falcons chance of winning the WAFCON. And he said if Madugu pick the right players they will win because the players are always ready to give their all on the pitch. But if they mix things up it may not go their way. He also said the Coaching is not there but the players are there..

Randy wants to come back, but said he will only accept the Job if he’s allowed to picked his Staff all by himself.. Which i know NFF won’t because they must put their People in One or two positions among the Coaches..

This current NFF won't hire him. Maybe another NFF board. Also why pay USD if Madugu delivershuh? And Madugu must have very strong backers because Randy wanted him gone outrightly and the NFF stood their grounds.

Madugu, Ann, Danjuma all have a Strong backing there and they can’t challenge the NFF as well on whatever they do..…

Unlike the likes of Omagbemi, Akide, Ayisat, Ayegba, Okosieme etc.

I would have reveled some things here but some persons will know I’m the one who said it here. Let me just keep it to myself.

So u’re insinuating that Madugu is a better Coach or Good enough for the team??

With the interview Randy put there, I must commend him for a job well done.

Present continuous on delivery abeg. Man needs to increase our confidence in what he's got. We know the talent ceiling of the players already. If we can't see his tactical input in them, na to face front o. For now na just talent dey make us believe in this team. Coach side na still hibernation mode. Till then.

All these top shelf gbasgbos no dey help our football.

Regarding Chioma ("Chi"wink Okafor , interesting interview of her at Uconn.
She comes across as a very confident and grounded young lady who has strong leadership potential.
Optimistic that she might turn out to be an asset for the Super Falcons, in the near future.
All the very best to her.

Yes this girl might be explosive, very good, reincarnation of Messi and Ronaldo combined etc, Gift shouldn't have been dropped for her, Ijamilusi, Rinsola or even Ordega. It's not like Gift is old and she's not one for the future. I rest my case.

Not at all sir. I meant Madugu is cheaper to the NFF than bringing Randy back. Also he's probably a yes man and won't question their authority. This NFF doesn't like spending money and they dont seem to be creative in raising money as well. This NFF isn't big on competency, they want results without planning and want things at the cheapest cost.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 7:27pm On Jun 30, 2025
But how do we know Gift was dropped for her?
I would argue that Gift was dropped for Ordega, as they both play the exact same role.
Chioma can play as an outright winger or wing back. I would argue she can possibly play as a left back also, which is a role Monday cannot play.

So for me, Gift being dropped was more of her falling out with the coach and nothing else. Magudu was making silly excuses for dropping her.

Cup final between Rivers Angels and Nasarawa Amazons. Anderline Mgbechi was the hero at the end 😅

Valid question you asked and thats why I listed Ordega and other names that Gift might have been dropped for.

Chioma Okafor is one of the MAC Hermann Trophy Semi Finalists, an Award Onyi Echegini (Florida State) won for her outstanding intercollegiate performances..

This alone should tell you that the girl is good, Esther Okoronkwo was also considered for the same award but didn’t get to this level but doing well for both Club and Country..

Okafor is a big Catch just as we got Onyi Echegini…! She’s a senior already and will definitely go pro soon..

Okafor was nominated alongside Florida State forward Jordynn Dudley, Texas senior midfielder Lexi Missimo, if you follow College Soccer you will know how good this players are.. I remember i and Basco once argued about Dudley that she’s supposed to be in the USWNT with the talent she’s showing right now. But I said she still can’t bench either of Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman and Mallory Pugh(Swanson) yet..

Just watched the most interesting documentary on Super Falcons. It’s actually frustrating that this is the most awarded team in the country yet the NFF doesn’t value them. Not giving them enough jerseys, unfulfilled promises. We need to treat women better everywhere.

This guy shared opinion on falcons. While I agree we should start preparing better, I still think the falcons can and would beat every team they meet in this tournament.

I actually prefer this guys analysis of the Super Falcon’s prospects.
The fact that he’s looking at it from an outside lens makes it more optimistic for football fans in general.

Enjoy…

CAF has officially unveiled the brand new WAFCON trophy! On July 26th in Morocco, one African team will lift it high. Who do you predict will lift the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in 2025?

Will it be ?
1• 🇳🇬 Nigeria
2• 🇿🇦 South Africa
3• 🇲🇦 Morocco
4• 🇿🇲 Zambia
5• 🇬🇭 Ghana
6• 🇸🇳 Senegal
7• 🇨🇩 DR Congo
8• 🇧🇼 Botswana
9• 🇩🇿 Algeria
10• 🇹🇳 Tunisia
11• 🇲🇱 Mali
12• 🇹🇿 Tanzania

Currently I'd say Nigeria's biggest threat is Zambia.

I am telling you... The trophy is far more presentable than that PA cup. Unfortunately, na we gathered am pass.

For sure this new trophy will fire up all the teams and make the tournament more interesting. Just like the last afcon.

I will rather say South Africa who are more organized and Morocco who are very tactical with technical players are ahead of them in the pecking order..

Truthfully if you can get down Banda, Kundananji, Mupopo, Mukoma and Co then they’re very much beat able..

Thank Goodness we have very Physical players in Midfield( Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Abiodun) who thrive alot in this kind of physical games…!

Congo might be there too. I however hope that when we meet Morocco again, we'll take them to the cleaners. That last encounter is still fresh in memory and the ojoro and all at play. I hope we contain Tigernut and Chebbak this time fully.

I believe the freshness in attacking power will make the difference. That their keeper turn to Olivia Kahn that night. Lol

The memory of that ojoro is still fresh in my head.. imagine been one woman down and yet the girls still attacked massively. Unfortunately for us, the goalkeeper was at her best that night.
