Does anyone know if there are official Ecoflow distributors in Port Harcourt, or should I just buy from the Jumia Official store vendors? Also can anyone help me with a comprehensive list of all the additional cables, gadgets and gizmos I will need to connect to solar panels so I can start now to order them in case any is shipped from abroad? Thanks |

Planning ahead of the delivery of my Delta 2. Since the jinko 555w 41v solar panel will deliver a max of 250-350w at its most effective, I’m wondering is there a way I could connect more than one, maybe in series or parallel, in such a way that combined they can provide up to the 500w on a good day and compliment themselves on bad days, but without them exceeding the 60v input Voltage recommended for the Delta 2? |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by noobody(m): 4:52pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
HumbleNdMoist:If your jinko panel is original And well placed You would get 500w steady Min yoh should expect is about 400+w steady on a good day And regular days btwn 390 and below You can get 590w panel also if available |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by HumbleNdMoist: 6:20pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
noobody:Steady even on a very cloudy day when it’s about to rain or you’re only planning on sunny days? I’m in my in-laws house and each of his 10 555w panels are supplying about 24w due to the poor weather but he is still able to aggregate 240w, tho his inverter is 6000w. I want something similar so let’s say three or four panels on a terrible day can give me 24w x 3/4, still manageable, I don’t plan to be complaining anytime clouds form |

oladele239:Both times you’ve quoted me it’s been to either have me added to a WhatsApp group or to have me contact you. Both times unhelpful to what I was actually asking. In this case I am not asking what to buy for “best results”. I am specifically asking for a scenario and what I can do to achieve what I want. I don’t think this thread was originally created for shilling your business or whatsapp platforms pls unless I’m wrong. You can be as genuinely helpful as possible without shilling anything. People you interact with would be more inclined to check your profile and signature and join at their own discretion. My 2 cents. |

oladele239:Ok! For anyone who actually intends to be helpful, what I am asking about is how to connect high powered panels in such a way as not to exceed the input voltage of the Delta 2 while solving the problem of a highly cloudy day like I witnessed today where a 555w jinko was only supplying 24w. I want to be able to have at least 3 of them connected so I would still have a reasonable input on terribly cloudy days as such. Heard there is a solution possible by either connecting in series or parallel but I need someone actually experienced in it |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by oladele239(m): 9:03pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
HumbleNdMoist:I wouldn't want to sound somehow but buying 2 or 3 500+ watts panels for a delta 2 doesn't sound logical regardless of whatever issue you're trying to guard against. The best you can do is to get a quality panel of within 605-620 watts still within required volt range for the delta 2. That said if you insist getting what u intend to , your best shot will be connecting the panels in parallel which will only amount to increase in current i.e wattage but volt remains same Connecting in series is equivalent to damage of your unit as voltage will increase way above the required input volt. My 2 cents all in all ... You can get two jinko 400+ watts panels and connect in parallel, that way worst case scenario you have good input. But come to think of it , raining seasons don't last forever ! |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by HumbleNdMoist: 11:48pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
oladele239:Rainy seasons don’t have to last forever for me to seek to mitigate its effects on my power supply. The inconvenience while it lasts is enough. I am moving out of an area with steady band A light and I used my Gen heavily still. My next area will be far less power supply and don’t intend to use my gen except for actual emergencies. Prior to that I lived in a country with 24/7 power. You should understand why I am trying as hard as possible to avoid a situation where I am stuck without power in simply cos it doesn’t sound logical buying multiple jinko panels for a Delta 2. It’s more than logical to me and my goals which is to be assured of power in the day time, regardless of how cloudy the day is. But… isn’t there also a max current recommended for the Delta 2? Since connecting in parallel increases the current Thanks for the reply |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by oladele239(m): 4:49am On Jul 02, 2025 |
HumbleNdMoist:Max current ( wattage ) requirement for delta 2 is 500 watts... What this means is that even if you decide to use panel or panels that give you way above the required input , the delta 2 only takes 500 watts and ditches remaining current so far the panel is within the voltage range of 11-60 volts. If you like use 10k watts panel , it'll only draw out it's max wattage input i.e 500 watts at peak sun hours , however the good thing is you're not left hanging because come what may you're likely to hit max input wattage. |

oladele239:Yeah I know that, that’s the entire topic being discussed. I was talking about input. Just same way there’s a max voltage of 60v, I was thinking there was also a max current input rating too, (not the wattage for charging). I’ll clarify that with my in-law. Thanks! |
