I just got a refusal mail for uk visit visa. Some of the reasons for the refusal is; -Volatility of my account -my sponsors company was inactive on CAC for some reasons - I plan on reapplying this month Is there anyway to improve my account details can i ommit my own account details can i use a Nigerian sponsor with a credible company though not related ? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 3:18pm On Jul 02, 2025 |
protonz:You can't omit your account. You can use a Nigerian sponsor. Option 1: His personal account that is not used for business transactions option 2: His company account but CAC has to be active. If you want to improve your account, you have to discard the idea of applying immediately. |

We want to get a visiting visa for my sister in law to come to th UK and help us when our baby is born. My mum can't come anymore and my mother inlaw can't. We are saying she I coming for 2 weeks. She is self employed has a business and personal account. CAC. She is going to provide photos of herself and family, property documents, letter from her husband, bank statements to two accounts. My husband will be sponsoring her whole trip. She has no travel history. Is it okay to put that she us coming to visit and for the birth of the baby since our parents can't home? |

@cashmadam@ giselle and other gurus in the house. Pls i need your urgent input. I got a mail from the UKVI today requesting for additional documents. I was asked to submit my sponsor 6 months statement of account. I think we was an error our part not to submit it at first. My questions are; 1, Should I be worried? 2, "Please send this document as a scanned attachment" within 10 working days to SheffieldSettlementDocsRequested@homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line. "Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as Dropbox(TM) or Google Drive(TM)." What do they mean by the statement in qoute? |

onile1975:Sometime in year 2024, I told here that you would be refused and let me tell you again, that if you apply again even next year, you'll be refused again the 7th time... My last advise for you, forever, Look for other countries to go and forget UK. If you like pray, fast and join NSSPD or any mountain, it will be same outcome, because we're talking reality here not jokes. God answers prayer, but if you pray to automatically start flying a plane with no formal training, then you're heading for doom. So forget UK and try Qatar, any other African country Then try Schengen before coming to attempt UK I read that you're asking for details of Lawyer. If you hire Femi Fálànà (SAN) he will use your money to cool off, cos he lose the appeal. Face reality and wake up. UK will not grant you visa anytime soon as this is becoming desperation |

onile1975:Whilst we wait for the gurus to answer, the above answer to no 1 alone shows us you don’t get it and would rather prefer not to get it. Ghana travel history? How? Then you have quite a number of grammatical errors every time you write that could be improved. Did you try to get someone with strong English skills to write/express your thoughts in your cover letter and now complaint letter? This might be a huge contributing factor to your denials. |

giselle237:The chap is just ridiculous and very stubborn. He stands zero chance. I told him back then, but he's adamant on failing. UK will not give this guy visa except he has A or B list countries travel experience. Qatar, India, Malaysia, Singapore would open this chap up, but he's not ready |

Davinton:1. They are trying to help you, that's why they contacted you requesting for additional document. So nothing to worry about. 2. That the sponsor bank statement should be attached to the email when sending it. |

Where's the best center to do the TB Test for a non Lagos resident? Benin is closest but they don't have a functional phone number for any inquiry. If you have used Benin IOM for TB Test, please drop how you made payment and recommend any good hotel you stayed/ saw. Lagos: if you used the Lagos IOM, please recommend the one that gave you almost no stress and how you went about it. |

May I suggest that you build your travel history to other countries before applying. It appears you may have been "blacklisted" for now.... Sorry once again! onile1975: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 4:27pm On Jul 04, 2025 |
Manmann:While it's possible to apply for a UK visa with a 3 or 4-month bank statement, especially if you have good cash flow and can demonstrate a consistent income, it's generally recommended here on this forum that it is better to provide a 6-month bank statement. It will help the UKVI assess your financial situation and travel plans more thoroughly. Some people used a 4-month bank statement, and their visas were approved, but note that everyone’s situation is not the same. Assess your situation first and then determine what is best for your application. |
