I wonder what would have happened if your had for example, a peripartum cardiomyopathy after one of your pregnancies, this disease affects the heart so much that you would find it so difficult to breathe and carry your baby not to talk of breastfeed. The doctors will have to give you medication that to save your life, would be unsafe to breastfeed and dry up your milk supply. Many mothers will gladly do that and buy formula, just to feel better.

What if you had TB? HIV? Hepatitis B?
