Obi's answers and acoustic truancy into unrelated issues demonstrate his lack of grasp of the core issues. For example, Obi's flip-flop on the solutions to insecurity as ending poverty through investments is too pedestrian and myopic. His talk about being in LP and working with ADC shows political indiscipline. His talk about Saint Lucia and their population and size as being the reason for Tinubu not meeting them is quite shallow. As for the scholarships, has he heard of reciprocity?

He talks about competence, capacity and character. Does he have those attributes? He needs to search himself, speak with clarity on issues, demonstrate a strong grasp of issues and stop over-promising solutions when he is limited in understanding the fundamentals.

Finally, Obi does not have solutions. He is a populist who says the things sentimental people want to hear. He also comes off as a micromanager. He says he'd be in Niger and Kaduna and Katsina when they have crisis. He doesn't know the stress of the job. He assumes managing Nigeria is similar to managing a small state where his records are quite embrasssing for a man who wants us to believe he has all the answers. He is not presidential material. He can at best understudy a more competent leader and rebuild his leadership portfolio. You cannot run a complex and diverse country like Nigeria with some populist ideas you don't even understand.
