You don"t get it do you....those you mentioned are common when one say excuse me darling or sweetheart. What is being said here is that a man and his wife went to restaurant only for an employee to beautiful in front of the husband which is disrepeful and not compliment. To compliment another man's wife in front of the husband, it's best you say that your wife is beautiful or you guys look great together.

The irony of this story will be that the woman has not received this compliment in a long time and the man is angry that a fast food worker was faster than him. Men, women love compliments. Compliment your wife, no just spend money alone. They like to hear it, trust me on this one.

I have rarely ever met any woman who took issue with being regarded in that manner, unless it was phrased as an insult. "Good morning, beautiful!" is not an insult to most women.

If your so-called culture does not allow women to individually react in this case, something is definitely wrong with your culture.

The one taking offense is not the woman but the man. That is a problem. My guess is the woman probably smiled and went on her way, but the man, probably in some foolish, macho sense, decided he should take offense in place of her. Not realizing he made an eejit out of himself by doing so.

Your wife or woman you are in a relationship with is not your property, not by law or even by societal standards out here.
