This is just two years into Wike's administration. Though wike is working, performing really well but he is actually alienated from the people of the FCT. Even El-Rufai too was never familiar with the people during his time. As a matter of fact, Abuja people hated El-Rufai for demolishing their houses and rendering them Homeless.
Given the above, I dare say, it is premature to judge at this point until wike completes his tenure. I understand how bitter Ireti is, towards wike.

As someone born and raised in Abuja, I can tell you that Ireti is delusional. 🤡

El-Rufai wa so hated that he had to come on TV to say he is not afraid of death, that no one lives beyond 40 (or was it 50) in his family, so he is already fulfilled if he dies as at that time.

Even my dad's house in Karmo was not spared. Although we had a government allocated property in the heart of GARKI, my dad built properties for rent in Karmo, all of which El-Rufai demolished.

At least, Wike makes provisions for compensation to people with valid documents or convincing plea, El-Rufai no consider anybody papa. The few people El-Rufai reallocated lands after displacing them from some key areas in the heart of town were inside Pegi, a community far inside Kuje Area Council where Fulani herdsmen showed them shege for years even up till Buhari's tenure.


Yes, El-Rufai did what he did to restore some form of sanity to the city ànd to follow the original masterplan, but don't paint him like someone who was connected to the grassroot in FCT.

The Governor of Kaduna Uba Sani is just being used to discredit Nasir El-rufai in Kaduna from accusations of El-rufai being a Kaduna Butcher to being a non- performer for political leverage.

El-rufai had a First Class in Urban and regional Planning at the ABU Zaria and restructured the FCT Metropolis -based on its return to the original master plan.

He undoubtedly set a benchmark for the beautification of the FCT.

Wike is a performer also but an uncoth noise maker cum 🥃.

Both men are commendable performers, but Wike has just spent TWO years as FCT minister.

It's quite illogical to compare TWO years of Wike's administration to FOUR years of El Rufai's.

But El-rufai is the best minister of FCT ever

Research before you say things with confidence in a public forum. Elrufai was only minister during OBJ's second tenure and he served only 4yrs

The senator spoke the gospel truth. El Rufais standard is yet to be met by any minister. Wike is just loud and hasn't done anything outstanding. Most of the roads he is gloating about were 80 percent completed by the previous minister. As at this moment, primary schools are shut as teachers are on strike. There is refuse along the streets virtually everywhere. Streetlights aren't working.

Wike is dancing around like a spyroghyrra like the fct didn't have roads before he became minister.
That was why he had to commission an already commissioned metro line. He likes the attention so much. But nobody stays on the spotlight forever.

El-Rufai though disliked by many in Abuja in the mid 2000s, brought sanity back to the city's landscape. 'Angwan Mada' settlement presently known as Naf Valley Estate Asokoro, defacing the view from the expressway, was totally demolished by the Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai-led administration in 2006.

Without mincing words, kingibe's assessment is simply subjective, arising from differences between her and the "Super Minister" of the FCT.

Nobody can compare Elrufai's performance in 2 years with Wike in 8 years of given the chance. Elrufai is the reason the Abuja you and I are proud of today,.politics aside.

That is a fact, Elrufai constructed roads, open new business districts launched mass transit buses and taxis . People who were in FCT during his tenure know this , he also demolished houses and shanties.
