Oshoala has no business in Super Falcons. Period Our coaches are too spineless to discern this. See Kgathlana of South Africa axed from Bayana Bayana team. |

I was complaining about the Tunisians and their constant falling. The Botswana team are even worse. That their number 3 just dey fall upandan asif she dey ontop bed. Tueh! Btw, how was that even a yellow for Deborah.. The officiating of Nigeria's 2 matches is just below par. |

orriyomi33:Plumptre actually started her career as an attacking midfielder and a forward for england |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by yinkeys(m): 11:00pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
joxxy01:No wonder, she’s got the creativity of a midfielder & the crosses of a solid winger Modern day Guardiola Left back & how they occupy the midfield as well as offensive 3rd PSG Mendez & Hakimi Man City’s Zinchenko She really helps us offensively Alozie needs to emulate Ashleigh’s game style Or is that long hair/braids heavy & affecting her game, personally I think it is ![]() Silly me I think Alozie was off today Payne younger sister should’ve been invited |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 11:05pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
yinkeys:We have a good replacement for Alozie in the team though if the coach wants to look into it. However, we do not seem to have a good replacement for Ashleigh in this current team. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by joxxy01(m): 11:11pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
yinkeys:Alozie actually did better than the last game...but she still need to learn from Plumptre like you said. |

joxxy01:Botswana goalie deserves this Okoronkwo Thé goal scorer that made the difference Ihezuo Should be one of them, a win is a win regardless Congrats to them on qualifying We face Zambia or Morocco next Both teams are tough tough lol |

isan:Perhaps man thinks cos she wears 7 so she should start from the wing. Im too pissed at the game tonight. It is also hilarious that as talented as this team is, passing is still a big big herculean problem overall. Omo!! At this rate, we need both Onyenezide and Mercy Idoko in Falcons. They too sabi passing abeg. Especially Idoko. All I'm seeing are same problems on 2022 group stage and that's enough to sink one's morale even though they'll still top group. I knew this man will give Chioma the "Attervall treatment" Smh |

I hope we use team B for the 3rd game Hopefully the first 11 heal up properly before we face Morocco or Zambia I’m hoping it’s Senegal though ![]() |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 11:33pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
daveP:Sheybi I talk say we need Oyenezide? She doesn’t have to make rough tackles but when she gets the ball she keeps the ball better and she’s always able to retrieve the second ball. Her shots are also usually very wayward though like most of the falcons except the likes of Echiegini and Plumptre. When you have Ayinde already, you don’t need a similar player like Abiodun playing at the same time except you are playing Spain and you probably want to get a draw. Abiodun was going forward more often but if the coach wanted someone to do that, why an Abiodun who is not as experienced going forward? But hey, Oyenezide wasn’t invited so we’ll let that be. |

GeneralDae:I won't lie, Ucheibe dey fall hand. Na her dey uefa women's comp and she dey do like she learnt nothing to make her stand out here. If Onyenezide doesn't get the call one day, then make they find a better one. But you see that Idoko, girl is like a Modric. Her vision and passes got even better. Overall, this man's best ability is frowning on the touchline like Incredible Hulk. |

1. The coach should be SACKED.Not intelligent. 2. Why play Toni Payne and ajibade out of position in consecutive matches. 3. I won't use abiodun for the remainder of the tournament. Red card waiting to happen. 4. Stop barking instructions at the players every move of the game. He is putting pressure on them unnecessarily. 5. Going into any major tournament henceforth. We must do away with MISSION STATEMENTS. IT IS PUTTING THE GIRLS UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE. i.e mission x. This is the reason why a team who didn't lose a game in regulation time at the world cup is unrecognizable from a team playing like a Nigerian Women's Premier League team. In conclusion, the reason why the girls are all playing poorly is because they are UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE. |

Im glad we have Plumptre in the XI. Alozie should goan reflect abeg. That Bostwana gk should have been the POTM though. Watch as he will still not give rest to key player for this Algeria game. Infact he won't still use Chioma. Lol. Rinsola doesn't need to start that game Rinsola Esther Ihezuo Should rest Let Onumonu Ijamilusi Oshoala Start the game |

At this point we stand no chance since we are going to be facing either morroco or Senegal. Zambia will top the group. |

dodobytes:Oga rest, one or two bad games y'all will just ridicule a player to nothing, the same Alozie that Mendesdized Lauren James at the World Cup. If she jam winger wey good too nothing like destruction of career go sup. |

For Sunday’s game vs Algeria, this line up won’t be bad ————————-Oluehi——————— —-Alozie——-S.Oladipo—Ohale——-Plumptre—- ——————-Ayinde——Ucheibe————- ————————-Echegini——————- ———Ajibade——-Ihezuo——Babajide—— The likes of Chioma, Okoronkwo and Onumonu can come in in the 2nd half |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ekehopp2: 6:05am On Jul 11, 2025 |
PDPGuy:Nope, QF starting line up should 100% be ————————-Nnadozie——————— —-Alozie——-Ohale—Demehin——-Plumptre—- ——————-Ayinde——Ucheibe————- ————————-Echegini——————- ———Ajibade——-Okoronkwo——Ihezuo—— For the final group game. Coach should change the whole starting 11 and give other players game time. |

CAF say that they are investigating Algeria but they won't say why until the investigation is completed. |

Fun fact: The Super Falcons have kept cleansheets in their opening 2 games at a WAFCON, for the first time, since the inaugural 1998 edition 🤯 |

Hardrive:Point number 4 pisses me off too Doesn’t give them time to think or be creative That sort of thing could distort players flow in terms of reading the game or taking initiative I agree with all your points except number 1, it’s too early for that The tournament starts for us in the knockout stage |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by orriyomi33(m): 7:10am On Jul 11, 2025 |
How is Abiodun a Red card waiting to happen? The yellow she got was a wrong call if you watched the same match I watched yesterday. Whether played out of position or not, was it the coach that stopped her(Ajibade) for making good passes/crosses as well in front of the opponent boss. I don't think there is nothing wrong in giving instructions to the players so far he is the coach, should he just be looking at them putting in the wrong foot? All teams of their theme for tournament, it's the performance on the field that is the priority, our girls are not under pressure. Thanks. Hardrive: |
