Is it true that receiving your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) guarantees that you will obtain your Student visa?

I am an SSCE holder cos I dropped out in university since 2014. Now, I’m 37yo and I really want to go back to school but either in the UK or Canada. I’m also married with a kid.

My question is;

• Will any school grant me admission for Bsc considering my age and gap in my education?

• If yes, what is my chance in getting student visa?
