Apart from the 40 characters rule, it's only a troll that would complain about the other rules and if you check, most of those people who are no longer commenting are trolls... Uncle Antispam bot is dealing with them on our behalf.

Twitter is a toxic cesspool. I appreciate what nairaland is becoming. The people who are bored are those who came here for the hate and toxicity. Spambot has humbled trolls and more intelligent people are coming back to share their thoughts. Thank you, Seun for not abandoning this forum.

How is X toxic? You r probably the toxi. city on X,you better deac. tivate. I have seen more persons getting help on X . I get info/ faster on X. You will see great personalities on X,even Seun do twit there sometimes. At some point the monitization there was sweet,until the bar was raised. I visit there more these days.

I don’t use social media. Nairaland is the only forum I visit. I love the set up and the fact that it’s not monetised means I won’t be bombarded with endless content of people who are trying to colonise my attention.

I like that we can now block people for up to three weeks. The previous one week was definitely too little. Thank you for listening, Seun. That nuisance and stalker that likes to follow me around Nairaland like an annoying bee that he is has finally gone away.

I also don't have any social media accounts and I'm not even bothered... And judging by the YouTube videos that I've watched from social media, I don't regret my decision of staying off social media.

I tried almost all popular social media platforms before, from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and recently tik tok, but I'd easily lose interest in them within a period of a month and eventually deactivate my accounts... I'd sometimes just visit if I want to check something and delete the account afterwards... I'm only active on nairaland and YouTube comment section... And one thing I like about YouTube is that it's very strict, it doesn't tolerate any foul language.

You are right because I just playfully use d word I pour u spit dey ban me chai nairaland done dey dull make I go find one group go join I no feel dey live boring life say na maturity

I used to post items for sale on Nairaland but it's very hard these days. Every ad I create is automatically deleted and comes with instant ban. What I post is just specifications of the items I have for sale, no bad words or anything extra and yet I keep getting banned.
