He has gotten his LOA and PAL.

A semester tuition is 9k CAD

An auntie of his, who is a USA citizen is coming in as a financial supporter, she is paying the first semester tuition and giving him her documents (20k in her bank statement, notarized documents showing she is d mum young sister, her employment letter and ID).
While my kid bro is to arrange about 10-15m POF in his account...

Do u think it's fine to secure a study visa?

Or what other thing do u think is needed.....
Na next year in-take..

Why not pay the full tuition? No reason am say you will work and pay the balance under 4 months.

Unfortunately this will likely not fly. First, his sponsor being his auntie means it's advisable he holds his 1 year living expenses as well as travel cost in his personal acct while the auntie can hold his tuition balance in her acct as long as the first semester was paid from her acct.

So she can do a gift deed of cash to you but I think the struggle will be convincing the VO why your auntie should be almost clearing her whole savings to see you through school

How about a young blood sister, who is a USA citizen with same surname, pictures together, her bank account showing about $30k , her iD and letter of sponsorship.

Or

Should both sister and Auntie documents be used as financial supporters, since both are USA citizens...
While d applicant put like 15million in his account for a month....

Good evening house, currently starting my study journey but want to throw this question to others who have probably seen a case like mine, I have a bachelor's and want to apply for a master's or diploma, a few years ago I noticed that my waec certificate had some notable mistakes, firstly my gender was written as male instead of female, I wrote to my school and the principal was able to get the requirements to amend that, the second issue was my DOB, where was supposed to be 2 was written 5 and I was made 3 years younger, waec has acknowledged that the error might have come from their end or the school, as I gain nothing from being older, but they insisted that they cannot change it. Does anyone have a similar cases and how were you able to handle it with the vist officer. I would appreciate if I get responses

• Police clearance certificate
• Medical exam (panel physician)
• Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Now, as for the POF, $10k is all I have to hold in my account? If yes, for how many months?

Learning Institution (DLI) - You must apply to a DLI
Proof of financial support (minimum $10,000 per year) - This is not the current amount, Appr. 21,000 to be increased in September.
Police clearance certificate - Not necessary
Medical exam (panel physician) - Very important, you can use either IOM or Qlife and can also do upfront or wait for a medical request

You will need your POF funds in your account to cover your tuition and living expenses. It is recommended that you submit a 6-month account statement. The money stays in your account till you get a decision

Hello all, thanks for all the information you guys drop here, it calmed me down while I was waiting for my visa approval mail.

I applied for study permit on the 31st of October,
Biometrics updated same day ( I have a valid biometrics)
Medicals passed - 18th of November,
PPR letter dropped same 18th of November.

SOWP was also approved for my spouse same day.
We are a family of 4.
Our toddler daughters are American citizens so they didn’t need a visa, but we included proof of funds for a family of 4.
School is resuming in January 2025.

We also have a valid Canadian visit visa that we got last year, we took a trip to Canada in May this year and spent 5 weeks, we came back and started the school application process.
All thanks to God.
I pray for those still waiting to get a positive result soonest 🙏🏼

Please house I got admission Offer Letter from University of Niagara Falls Canada (Masters of Data Analytics), and the offer came with 2 outstanding conditions:
1. To send my BSc transcript to UNFC using my school official email
2. Successful completion of 3 academic bridging courses online (which requires payment of $2,400 before my Conditional Offer Letter will be changed to Unconditional Offer Letter).

Where my concern lies now is the (Successful completion of 3 academic bridging courses online) which requires payment of $2,400 before my Conditional Offer Letter will be changed to Unconditional Offer Letter.

Please house is there any other way around it, because the $2,400 will be a huge burden on my tight budget.

Below is the snippet of the offer letter i got:

So I heard if one is going to a Canadian college as an international student, you cant bring someone over. Does it also mean that you can't apply for a visiting visa for someone to at least visit you ?
