Samueltemi337:I am very happy we avoided Morocco for the quarter finals to be honest when you see the poor officiating. |

Deltamani:Given the NFF’s history of not rehiring previous coaches who caused them “wahala”, I would go with 2-5 as the coaching crew. |

Deltamani:Maybe it is an unfair premise for assessment, but I have heard Rachael Ayegba talk football and in my opinion she isn't anywhere suited for the Super Falcons job. She did commentary for the last WAFCON and her understanding of the game in my opinion was awful. |

Oh I didn't know Oshoala stormed off the pitch when she was substituted in the last game. Many obviously didn't know because no one here brought it up. Osasu asked the coach about it and here was his response:

Osasu asked the coach about it and here was his response: journalist is a very fantastic instigator while the coach is a brilliant saboteur. The coach refuse to understand that if you mismanage this situation with oshoala, the rest of the players will respond with animosity. This is where man management will save you but I am sure of one thing, he would get himself sacked. The job is to frustrate the players into a reaction to get rid of them. Where you need a cool head to navigate the terrible and planned officiating the morrocans have set up for the tournament is when you are having problems with the players. With time, there won't be foreign players both men and women for us to call upon anymore because they are going to choose other nationalities ahead of Nigeria. I realized that many so called Nigerian journalist are being incentivized to promote anything local in Nigerian football( coaches, players) even if they are mediocre. They are all part of the system dragging us back. |

Storming off the pitch was a shameful decision and one that should earn her a stiff penalty. I just hope the coach has the cojones. |

Osasu asked the coach about it and here was his response: love Osasu; he is confident tackling issues without fear of the Nigerian system. He has been removed from it. The Naija system is so corrupt and malfunctioning that the only way our top national football teams can function is by having a manager who does not need to conform to the system. Doesn't need to beg or kiss ass for the job, made his/her name in their own right. So will demand a reasonable salary and will pick players on merit to achieve results, and not because of any kickbacks or undue influence from different quarters. That's why I miss Randy Waldrum, and why Eric Chelle's appointment is a good one. |

According to the Rumours on ground oo Chioma is injured and won't play until 12 days according to team doctor. This is supposed to be the job of the media head of the team. She was not on the sub list the last time we played against Botswana .. 12 days according to the team doctor. |

Osasu asked the coach about it and here was his response: professional but I totally understand. She got no service in that first half but still was part of our biggest chance. I would have been frustrated too. |

BascoVanVeli:Basco, i will be frustrated to if I were in her shoe but as one of the leaders of the team that was a terrible thing to do. Moreso, she was not the only one who got substituted. She should lead by example. |

BascoVanVeli:I quite frankly don't understand it because it's Oshoala. Anybody else I would have excused it but Asisat is a consummate professional and a leader in the team and have experienced situations like this throughout her career (she's currently experiencing same thing in Bay FC) so should have handled this better. I also think the coach didn't do a good job explaining her role in the team. It's something I believe Randy did early at the World cup. Magudu needs to do the same thing. Oshoala still has a few more years in the team but primarily for her leadership role as she has the utmost respect of her teammates. Explain her role to her and get her buy-in |

ekehopp2:This looks like a pretty good attacking setup. He should have used this to start against Botswana. Why risk Nnadozie in this dead rubber game though? What if she gets injured? Are the other goalkeepers there for fancy? |

Oluehi supposed start this game IMO. If she's great enough to be 2nd choice at present, why not? |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by dodobytes: 8:25pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
Sikiratu Isah needs to be more confident when in possession of the ball, her long balls are just turning over possession to the opponents. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:37pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
Algerian are pass the ball better than us and its too glaring. What's this nonsense that Demehin and Usani dey do abeg? To buttress this, even Madugu dey vex for these two for touchline. Why Usani dey do like LB no be her zone. Dem go dey waka enter and she go dey look make Demehin do LB🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ Till tournament end we need Mercy Idoko This underwhelming middle needs a controller |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:40pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
That's what happens when a ignoramus coach plays two points without delegating their zone and duty. Smh. That's a nasty clash. Their natural instinct got the better. Both should not be playing same time. Smh |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:42pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
This is shameful. Algeria s are passing out from the back without any iota of pressure in their own half🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ What makes it worse is we haven't replicated this at all since the 1st game. Arggggghhhhhh. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by dodobytes: 8:44pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
We need to scout for more solid defenders, sorry to say if anything happens to Ohale/Plumptre/Demehin we are toast. Our defensive bench is weak |

deltafly:From the usage of words this coach dey shout for touchline since match start, I'll say this man na gidigbo mentalist. He wants Usani and christy to body check this Algerian winger every time she's with the ball but they haven't done so with steeze. Smh. He only shouts at the attack if they miss chance. 🤣 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by deltafly: 8:51pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
daveP:Extremely shameful the team cannot pass ball |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:52pm On Jul 13, 2025 |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:54pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
deltafly:Demehin go hold ball like Saliba dey look up without any pressure on her but na opponent las las she go comfortably pass too las las. Usani no dey see free body for middle to connect with so far. Stale combo for midfield |
