We used to compare our squad with City’s. Now, they are miles off us, even though they’re going through a rebuild.

Based on last season’s results, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brighton look more likely to finish 4th to 8th than us. And they’re more active in the TW than us.

It doesn’t matter who the coach is. We have to be strengthening our squad every window— better than those teams above us, if we want to catch up with them.

If Amorim is the stumbling block, sack him and bring in someone else. Just equip whoever is the coach with quality signings, enough to rival those other teams.

This is the flexibility we asked for last season. They said he won’t be able to switch back.

We have backed managers with several new players in the past. At this time and given our finances, it’s impossible to do so, we can only do so much for now. The only reasonable thing is for Amorim to show workings and his mettle by hook or crook before we can go all out to change the squad for him.

If most are observant, you'll notice that the season Rashford scored goals and we qualified for the UCL was when Ten Hag switched to counter-attack after his first few games.

The only reason we didn't win the Europa League and even finish close to City was because our legs were tired towards the end (leading to the 7-0 trashing by Liverpool).

Now, what I expected of him was to get new (better) players for those strategic positions where we were lacking subs and where the players weren't good enough. But instead, he wasted our funds on useless players trying to play something new, I don't even know what.
