HALFTIME.

I love the fact that we are yet to concede so far in the tournament, it's impressive.

And yes, kudos to the fans today.

It's also noteworthy that Madugu isn't playing defensive today, contrary to how he executed the group stages. The selection shows he's going on the offensive. We are either going to see a masterclass or a disasterclass.

Not sure what's sponsoring this boldness but I'm seated.
Like I noted here, it was obvious Madugu was going all attack and that's what exactly happened. Also like I predicted, we were going to see either of the two extremes and so far it's been a masterclass.

Big gbosa to Coach Madugu. He's earned it.

Yellow to Demehin. That means she will miss the semifinal 🙆🏽‍♂️

I guess the coach and the players must have checked social media to see the reactions of Nigerians. If Zambia should win this match, ewooo al the social media pages won't rest. Nigerians will finish them especially the coach. Kudos to them. We still have more to go

I understand why people are fretting, but Zambia is not a good team. Zambia is simply a bad team with great goal scorers. Even with an average performance, we should beat them easily should the girls want it more.

The only reason people are afraid and rightly so is the loss of confidence in the coach to make the right decisions that day. Madugu's only job that day isn't really coaching but selection. Just select the best 11 and make the needed substitution and we should be good.

I've given Madugu grace despite the many reservations I have about his coaching job so far because however you feel about his coaching (and rightly so) he has qualified us out of the group stage without conceding. He'll keep getting grace from me as long as he gets the results whether by fluke or otherwise.
Everything I said here is playing out exactly as I said. It was funny seeing people here express irrational fear about the Zambian team. Like I rightly noted above "Zambia is simply a bad team with great goal scorers" and that Coach Madugu's job was to get the right lineup and we'll be good.

Masterclass first half from the girls. Again, Kudos to Madugu.

The fear is reasonable. Banda and Kundanaji are very formidable.

Zambia have made themselves way too predictable and it seems Madugu studied them well..

Their defence is wack......their only style is to boot long balls to Banda and Kuandanaji... Our defense have so far done well in keeping the duo quiet..
Excellent game so far....

I expect Zambia to come out more in the second half.. Madugu should introduce Ucheibe and Abiodun to lock up that midfield

The fear was largely unfounded if you've watched the Zambian team play for sometime. They are a bad team. Yes good strikers but a bad team all the same. Once you contain the flow of ball to the strikers they are done for.

Do you get, Is he being stubborn or want to prove that he knows better? Rasheedat in midfield at this stage when she hasn’t performed well for the team there?

How do you bench Christy Ucheibe in this kind of physical game??

Or Madugu just want to ruine the team totally??
Speak now

Back in those days, I remember, trying to contain Yekini was always a bad plan because he was able to take advantage of the slightest chance. Anyway, may God lead us to safety completely
