yinkeys:No ways, Banyana Banyana will be the champions again this year |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 10:55pm On Jul 19, 2025 |
zhike:You couldn't even destroy Senegal. Mothlalo is injured too. Different ball game loading. Might be a repeat of the Zambia result. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by zhike: 10:58pm On Jul 19, 2025 |
yinkeys:Correct, there is personal tension between coach and Kgatlana. South Africans are angry with the decision of leaving Kgatlana behind |

daveP:The problem today, our star seoposenwe was not on form. Nigeria will get more than 4 goals. Safa promised banyana Banyana players big bonuses to motivate them to beat Nigeria. |

zhike:Nobody else could do anything outstanding today, Seopo or not. If you rely on her, you'll get the Zambian treatment. Your defense is terrible, but your gk is good. Esther Okoronkwo alone will run ringa ringa roses around that defense line. Ihezuo/Rinsola/Onumonu No need to mention Oshoala even if she most likely might come alive vs SA. Where do you want to see 4 goals when it is Pk you used tonight to scale through against Senegal In 2019 final, they promised fat bonuses, but Swart still colet. Mothlalo used that miss to build a great comeback anyway cos she's good. But Seopo is no longer the seopo i know. So find new stars |

zhike:Reading this from a South African despite what they played today (which wasn’t pretty), and I am beginning to think we Nigerians are way too hard on our super falcons (the record champions). We put them under lots of pressure. I see South Africans all over social media celebrating the win over Senegal despite their poor performance. I know what would have happened if Nigeria had to struggle like this against a Senegal and only had to rely on penalties to beat them. The pressure on the falcons is crazy. |

🇳🇬 v 🇿🇦 will be the Super Falcons’ 66th ever WAFCON match, the most for any team 🇳🇬 Chiamaka Nnadozie has played in 10 WAFCON matches, keeping 7 clean sheets! Excluding the own goal she conceded in the bronze medal game three years ago, she has shut out opposition players in 8 out of 10 WAFCON matches 🤩 |

PDPGuy:Her absence at the Olympics affected the team's harmony... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by M7even(m): 10:57am On Jul 20, 2025 |
There are birth rights in sports. And this is made possibly by many factors such Genetics, to history to environment condition and socio-economic factors. Nobody competes with Kenya and Ethiopia for gold medal at the Olympics in the long distance . It's more or less a birthright to them. If you needed to win such without representing those nations, you must at least be of that bloodline like Mo Farah the British athlete who equally has an East African roots There was a time Angola dominated Africa basketball and the rest of Africa looked on, until Nigeria first qualified for London Olympics 2012. And Dtigress have made a steady progress of winning a 4-pleat. To show that we are capable of dominating at least the women basketball. The glory of national team football for Africa is with west Africa (Cameroon). Our birthright for falcon is the WAFCON. It is a total failure when we fail to achieve such. The North Africans and south Africa have better resources for club football success, unfortunately ,we from west Africa can't compete with them there. No country in Africa can compete with south Africa's springboks in rugby. They are world champions. Egypt will always be a force to recon with at table tennis and badminton. So when the super falcons play, it's not because we are hard on them, it is because we have a standard to protect. We are 11 times champion, forget the mission X. This is our show others only attend. Just as Kenya and Ethiopia will always win the gold medals at the long distance. African national female football championship is our own birthright. |

WAFCON IN 2022, South Africa, Morocco and Zambia all beat Nigeria. WAFCON in 2025. Nigeria beat Zambia. South whipping loading, and we finish the job against Morocco (most likely).🙏🏾 |
