What else might one expect from a state administration beset with poor thinkers.

This does not make sense. The university before now has been named after someone.

Is this not disrespectful to the memories of Tai Solarin?
Is obvious many years from now, many of the national edifice named after Tinubu will also be changed.

Noooooooo....this is all shades of wrong! The University is already named in honour of Tai Solarin, a renowned activist,human right agitator,educationist and a pan-Nigerian,why on earth would the governor rename the school again?! I'm not in support of this and every right thinking person shouldn't! Gov Abiodun should look for something else to be named after the late Awujale if he's so desperate to immortalize his name.

I think we currently have the worst crop of politicians since the history of Nigeria. They make decisions without holistically evaluating the implications of such decisions.

What's with the trend of changing names of certificates issuing institutions without looking at the consequences. There are other non-documents issuing institutions they could play with however they want without creating any disparities. Please, let’s learn to preserve some heritage.

Tai Solarin University is different from Tai Solarin college of education. Tai Solarin University of Education at Ijagun is not the same as Tai Solarin college of education, they are two different institution.

This is madness of the highest order. So there is no other valuable place to name after the late Awujale in the whole of ogun state. Changing the name is a dishonour to the late Tai Solarin, and this is not fair
