Great idea! Can’t wait to see the talent from the Super Falcons, Falconets, and Flamingoes get the recognition they deserve! |

To me this is where Toni Payne and Onumonu are needed in the XI Besides, if we never solve this shooting issue, Dlamini go too shine o. That lady is good and na where i miss Oparanozie kind shot be dis. That freekick goal that year no fit comot my memory. |

You guys have started with the same scary attitude displayed before the Zambia game. I haven't watched the South African team prior to their quarter final game, but the team I saw against Senegal will be very easy to defeat. Again, Magudu doesn't need to do too much, just get the lineup right. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:15pm On Jul 22, 2025 |
daveP:Toni Payne isn't needed. If anybody at all should be introduced into the lineup it should be Rinsola. Toni Payne can be directionless at times and doesn't add to that setup offensively. Rinsola can at least run, cross and shoot accurately. JOE can also shoot. I also wouldn't replace Ihezuo right now. She's hot so just leave her. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 1:18pm On Jul 22, 2025 |
lovewins:So far in this wafcon, we have just one out of the box convincing shooter and that's JOE. Keyword convincing. We can survive wafcon without that detail but we can't go to World Cup with such a disadvantage. Toni and directionless in same sentence? 👀👀👀😳 Nawa o. |

lovewins:I swear, the Senegal game was a real confidence booster for Nigeria😁😁 South Africa isn't all that |

I hope Madugu repeats the same formation and lineup he used against Zambia but Ijamilusi should be dropped for Babajide who should play as an inverted RW while Ihezuo plays on the left. I wonder why Madugu doesn't want to invert his wingers. |

lovewins:We nust never be complacent. For example, most people couldn't believe that Chelsea would spank PSG the way they did. We could play well and be unlucky, any player could get a red etc. Not hoping for all that to happen, but it's a 90 mins game, 11 vs 11 and both teams have equal chances of winning. One luv. |

daveP:How about Plumtre? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 4:00pm On Jul 22, 2025 |
AndSunGorilla:We are in no position to be complacent cause we aren't the players. We can however hope that the players do not discount the South Africans by assuming its going to be easy. That's totally different from expressing doom and gloom because we are favourites to win today and even the south Africans know that. |

Desire Oparanozie will go a long way in football journalism....this is not "sexy penetrating passes" kind of thing. I hear she has been snatched up by BBC? If so they see the potentials too.. |

M7even:Hmmm. Maybe I'm listening to a different Oparanozie. Her commentary has been very low-level and incoherent compared to what is obtainable from the average commentator. Facts. No hate. |
