Accurate Passes

Nigeria 53 Vs 99 South Africa

37 mins
🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
They're literally using their passes to calm the game down. We had long freekick around 19th min too and Tosin pass to a yellow shirt. We need do better, especially if it's Moroccan that we gonna meet.

I wasn't expecting us to keep possession, coz south Africa have mastered it already.

But I must say, the long balls are working for us so far...

I don't know the match you guys are watching o but for me Nigeria have been the better team by far

If one long pass can take south Africa out why do we need to stress ourselves by trying to use 10 passes? South Africa can continue to pass around without getting a shot on target

Really impressed with Folashade Ijamilusi. She's been very productive for us in this half. JOE needs to be more decisive and commanding. She's made a couple of schoolboy errors that shouldn't be.

Our midfield also needs to watch out cause S.A have been strolling through it the later part of the game.
The thing is coach don tell Esther to remain in the centre with Ihezuo behind her. They swap by their own instincts but Esther is a puppet to coach's shouts of hold, stay, just stay. Leaves the middle kinda open as Eche is not the tackle type. Anyways, they're content with wing play for now cos Seopo is on the wings. But Mothlalo isn't doing much either, asides the passes

Exactly, it seems to be working just fine. As sexy as it looks, not every team would pass pass pass especially if they don’t have the personnel for it. Those long balls have been measured and dangerous. Let’s wrap this game up now

Nigeria passes have been more effective... we've 2-3 big chances and south Africa can't have a shot on target.. anytime we go forward South Africa panic, in short Nigeria have been the better team

What we have as a problem right now comes so naturally to them. Add the home advantage they'll have too and probably some funny officiating as well. South Africa is not doing much right now, but Morocco are going to stretch us with their pass accuracy. Of course the element of surprise rests with us as usual.

That's not about pass effective now. Haba. We aren't better at this right now in all honesty but we are the better threat. Make we dey tok true.

Really? Is this necessary? Would rather not engage you.

Knowing how the officiating has been, That's a Penalty!

Why was Ohale tugging her back? 🤦🏽‍♂️

It should not be a penalty. At first I was shocked at the blatant pull then I watched the replay and saw there was no pull there.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by CornOak(m): 6:18pm On Jul 22, 2025
SA penalty converted.

SF 1 – 1 SA

I even think that wasn't inside the box. But then, we move...

Soft penalty to concede but we meuve.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:21pm On Jul 22, 2025
Yes that penalty call was cheap, but Ohale was reckless. That pull however slight was needless. She wasn't scoring that.

South Africa has been the better team this second half. We need to make some changes now.

Can Rasheedat be moved up, closer to the goal

Bruh that is a penalty all day long.

That was a very silly decision from someone that experienced.

Ucheibe subbed in for Echegini.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 6:23pm On Jul 22, 2025
Why can't the Nigerian girls be physical? They keep shying away and dodging tackles!! The SA girls push, Shove, Tackle etc. They are Taller and bigger than the SA girls yet the Nigerian girls are playing too soft...This's pissing me off!!
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AndSunGorilla: 6:25pm On Jul 22, 2025
I think Jennifa is done and she has been subbed with Christy.

Judging by the replays. I don't think VAR even has enough angles on this game.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 6:29pm On Jul 22, 2025
Demehin is one Useless Player!

She carried the ball out from her defense, Progressed nicely with the ball, now callously gave the ball away to a South African under no pressure, leaving her defense open for an attack, and yet jogging back 😂😩😩
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Kibbs(m): 6:29pm On Jul 22, 2025
I’d like to see Rinsola for Ijamilusi. Get some attacking prowess in the game. It’s anyone's game now
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:33pm On Jul 22, 2025
Our girls are playing like they are tired. These man needs to make changes. Our midfield is non existent. Attack isn't putting the south Africans under any pressure.
