It's "ezenwanyi" not "ezewanyi"

Igbos are traditionally animists. They worship rivers like Idemili, reptiles like pythons and crocodiles, birds like vultures, etc.
In Peter Obi's village, there is a lake where they have sacred crocodiles they worship, including Peter Obi himself.

So, Christianity is alien to Igbo culture and that's why you see questions like this springing up.
