Police Launch Manhunt for Oluwapelumi Adebayo Over Murder of Photographer in Lokoja

The Kogi State Police Command has launched a manhunt for Oluwapelumi Adebayo, a correctional officer accused of murdering young photographer Ayo Ayepekun in Lokoja, Kogi State. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
How the Incident Happened

According to reports, Adebayo allegedly lured the victim to his poultry farm, where he is suspected to have killed him. Disturbingly, the suspect reportedly stored Ayepekun’s body in a refrigerator, placed it in a van, and drove away from the scene.

The motive behind the killing is still unclear.
Suspect Escapes After Being Sighted

Citing TVC News, sources revealed that the suspect later returned to the crime scene, allegedly to clean up, but was sighted by residents and members of a local vigilante group.

Realizing he had been seen, Adebayo fled at high speed, prompting the vigilantes to shoot at his vehicle’s tires, causing it to crash. However, he escaped on foot and has remained at large since.

As of the time of this report, both the suspect and the victim’s body remain missing.
Family Demands Justice

Family and friends of Ayo Ayepekun are calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend Adebayo and ensure justice is served.

The police are urging members of the public with relevant information to come forward.

The guy is into either human rituals or organ harvesting, he is just using the farm as eye service, for him to carry out such crime, he must have done it before thinking that he will get away with it. POLICE are wasting time looking for everywhere meanwhile the suspect is hiding in VIP prison in the same state
