I understand your passion for criticism but you need to work on your mentality a bit, dwell much on solution than problem.
So you want me to point out that we are lacking in proper healthcare at this point in time 😕

Like it wasn't already obvious, what with all our leaders living and dying in foreign hospitals already? I mean look at the first and second pages of this thread . . . did you see one single person mention healthcare as an issue even though it is supposed to be glaring to every sane person already?

Well it's okay, I have heard you. God help us all 🙏

Why is your life full.of negativity and complain. Don't you know that all these will.be built. Just like Olympic been built by host country. Stop your negativity about Nigeria all the time as if you have another country yo go.
My friend go and sit down and stop deceiving yourself!

If it is not already in existence I see no reason why it should be given priority!

People never chop belleful una wan build race track?

How much revenue or direct employment will a race track generate for Nigeria?

Even if the race track is built it will likely remain fallow most of the time because most Nigerians will not be able to pay to use it. In a country where over 80% of the population cannot afford brand new cars where do you expect people to see money to buy F1 race cars so they can participate in a Formular 1 race?

You can't even maintain ordinary football stadium yet you want to build a race track!

Rubbish!!!

Abuja is as good a place as any on Earth to host Formula One.

Top class city.

More so with Mr Project, Wike, running things there.

Provide the necessary land with existing ones and the race designers will do that for you
Re: Abuja Seeks To Host F1 Grand Prix, Targets First African Race Since 1993 by EnterpriseMan(m): 12:13pm On Jul 24, 2025
Another waste of time. Nigeria has no formula 1 track. Or the retarded government thinks F1 is done on the express or the stupid Go Kart track in Abuja?
Even if you build a track with stolen money, it will have to be certified by the FIA as a Grade 1 track. They cannot even maintain common road.
Nigeria Government and delulu

This is one of the must crazy idea to come out of Nigeria in a very long while, while a leave in Abuja for over 35 years now and love formula 1, i cannot run away from the fact that;
1. Abuja city lack the basic standard infrastructure such as hospitals and fire service to handle emergencies
2. In Abuja, is common to see Animal moving round the city uncontrol
3. one big logistical problem in shipping of vehicles and equipment cos of bad road to the city
4. Security management

This can be possible in the year 2050 by which time we would have had a semblance of good roads and proper healthcare wink

It's good to start planning early sha

Modified

You see why we have problems in this country undecided everyone quoting me are talking about ABUJA SMOOTH ROADS and leaving out the most important aspect of such a competition which is PROPER HEALTHCARE cry

So what happens when two racers crash into each other or a barrier 🚧 and their vehicles catch on fire? Airlift them to London or France to get medical treatment?

Kai! No wonder we keep voting in the kind of leaders we have. Truly our people are yet to evolve even on top all the education we claim to have angry
Its clear Nigeria is moving IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. Umahi is running projects at the Federal level while Wike is running the Abuja show.

I've been to Abuja, the road are good, but not for formula 1 used.
These cars ain't those shock- absolver kind of cars. Except they want to start making roads for the event separately and starting now
They don't understand.

The F1 race track surfaces need to be as smooth as glass because there is only a small space between the base of the car and the asphalt

Don't blame d guy he is used to Port holes and rickety roads. Wen I went to abj for visa interview I was amazed by how wide d roads are and without portholes while narrow pothole filled roads are wat is giving to niger delta . I almost shed tears seeing wat oil money is doing in Abuja and ND delta in bad roads common east west road is in shambles 4 years...
F1 is the most expensive sport in the world in terms of logistics.

It's not just about good roads

is not a must to use the roads a race circuit are built purposely for that purpose, the time frame and how realistic they are is more important
