The coach is the main problem. He's too scared of Morocco. Why start two DMs when you know none of them can hold the ball? Why not bring in fast forwards to press them at the back? |

Today is the day of exposure. All the average players for this team don expose finish today. |

Ayinde was terrible. Ohale was terrible, Abiodun is just following the ball without doing anything. The only people giving me hope are Plumptre with her accurate passes and Ihezuo with her good movement/positioning. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Danielnino00(m): 9:55pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Payne for Ayinde..Ayinde, Ihezuo and Ijamilusi should be taken off for Payne, Babajide and Echigini.. Move Ajibade to the wings... If this man beings on Ucheibe, I'll personally swear for him... |

Nigeria 0 Morocco 2 HT Our coachs' tactics is grossly deficient for this more skilled faster and tactically good Moroccans, inviting Morocco to attack, I don't understand this tactic though it paid off b4 now but these Moroccans are very happy to explore this And they seemed more hungry to win than our girls Our dominance in Africa has finally and officially come to an end, we had a good run on the continent If we don't take deliberate steps to develop our ladies in grassroot football then we can as well kiss women football bye |

The coach isn't helping matters with his own melodrama. As he went haaa na im me self go haaa ![]() Game isn't completely lost we really need a tactical change and crucial subs asap. |

Why are we playing defensive . Why will our coach use two defensive midfielders. The last time he played two of them it failed 🤧 |

Danielnino00:Lol Two defensive midfielders and we still conceded two cheap goals. Is hard to understand. It'll have been better to play 4-1-2-3 |

FiveFootNinja:I think Payne & Echegini should both come in We are chasing the game 🤦♂️ We can’t create |

isan:TBH, Morocco are very winnable. They're not playing anything special, just keeping to a working tactic of close marking. Their two goals are from obvious defensive errors. We just need hold the ball less and make quick thinking passes. We are holding the ball too much, that's the problem. |

Payme.and Onumonu for Abiodun and Ijanulusi? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Hardrive(m): 10:02pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Well the coach can redeem himself if he plays with 3 forward. Take out ijamilusi and abiodun, bring in asisat/onumonu and echegini. Also more crosses into the box. |

isan:What makes this extremely hilarious is that there's been a campaign for Ayinde to get more recognition the last couple of days As a result of her friend's (Okobi) advocacy. Didn't read the interview that was posted so didn't know there was a subtle shade at Randy till someone mentioned it a few hours ago. What many did not realise is Ayinde being Okobi's best friend meant Randy wouldn't particularly be in her good books so those comments weren't surprising. Just hilarious all round |

typicalgamer:Why he no play creative midfielder Echegini or Payne are not on the pitch See as Morocco dey spring tiki taka for our backyard Coach is just uncoordinated & yelling at them instead of relaying instructions |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Diavolo: 10:04pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
On another note,I've noticed a lot of our home grown coaches have this habit of always shouting at the players from the touch line. Instead of sitting down and analyzing the game, they shout pass, run,Mark like say the players are children. What's the thought process behind it. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 10:04pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
JohnBullMySon:We sadly do not have the personnel for this. And by personnel I mean the coaching staff. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 10:05pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Whoever is playing the left wing is an absolute idiot... She doesn't tract back, doesn't attack.... It's leaving Ashleigh having to do both the attacking and defending on that flank and she's being triple marked. When she attacks with no cover, she's out of and in turn they overload that side of the pitch with quick passes or long balls and attack. I've seen Ouzraoui, Badri, Jraidi all drift to the right side to cause an overload. They're targeting the Island of Space between Demehin and Ashleigh...and when we shift to that side to defend, they play a quick switch to the other side of the field that has now that has now been vacated by Ohale. Interestingly, none of the 2 central Mids (Abiodun, Ayinde) has been able to cover that side of the field...(They've been too right sided leaning.... most of their passes are going to their right side, towards Ajibade, Ijamilusi and Alozie) Yet our dumb coach has done nothing to rectify this. Smh🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. Infact Esther, who is the striker has left her striking position to come help Ashleigh defend that side a couple of times. On the other hand Whoever is playing the number 10 role/attacking midfielder in the midfield 3 is nowhere to be found. She's not supporting the striker....Our striker is all alone. I've lost count of how many times the striker has won a knock down header and there's no one to pick up up the 2nd balls....The Moroccan girls just picks the ball up and re-circulate or counter... This is pathetic to watch! |
