With all that said... I personally believe we can still do better in that dept.

Thank you Dr., very well said. He gets to keep his job for now and rightfully so. When we are not Spurs, why would we sack a cup winning coach.

We all know he is not good, against world class teams. We don't stand a chance, his decision making is poor, and he is not tactically sound. Slow in making changes when needed and easily predictable.

Would have, should have, could have, etc. Yes 2 red cards were unfortunate but the fact is Randy didn't win it and JUSTIN has.

Esther was the most impactful player on the team. Apart from her PK’s, Ajibade didn’t really do anything spectacular. That was Esther’s award

My prayers from the 2022 wafcon came alive in Esther. For the long set pieces.

I don knee dan beg God to give us who go dey bury short set piece as e be like the Corner kick don see ijamilusi already.

Esther having a hand in 90% of our goals in this tournament should have earned her the MVP IMO sha.

If the coach can go for more training and allow the girls to play their wings, I think they will do well. If you watch, Plumtree wasn't playing well in the first half because Ihezuo wasn't a winger, so she suffered for it. Immediately after they brought the number 2, everything changed.

Next AFCON I would want them to win it. Even if they're playing Nigeria at the final. I want them to reap the results of their investments.

Ajibade didn't have the nerves to play the PK. Thank God for everything, but we still have a lot to do. We need to find a complete replacement for Ohale and another two young creative midfielders.

Special congratulations to Esther Okoronkwo, my woman of the tournament.
She has the energy, skill and sense.
Her excellent long freekick skills gave us 3 goals. (2 against Zambia, 1 against Morocco today).
Plus her selflessness to create chances and give an assist.

Agree with this. It's why I was careful not to criticise him all through. Yes he's technically inept but he had milestones that one shouldn't just discount.

Got out of the group stage without conceding a goal. I think that is the first time we've done that.

Went 5 games without conceding a goal in open play.

Got us to the final and won the cup.

He absolutely deserves commendation.

I sincerely hope he isn't asked to continue, for the sake of the team, but I also wouldn't go scorched earth doing so because like you said, he did what Waldrum couldn't do.
