The officiating was balanced. There's a reason i say it was opposite of the 2022 one. Like they cancel pk for us? Omo. That wouldn't have happened in the 2022 semifinal vs Morocco. Lol. |

The referee got most calls right but I’d have preferred that woman with afro from Botswana |

yinkeys:Sadly, average team no dey world cup level. What Jspn alone dey do teams ehn😂 If we stopped at Quarters last time out, we need to strive to match that this time. Meaning the right boxes must be ticked. Especially tactically preparation for potential opponents style of play. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 12:39am On Jul 27, 2025 |
Kibbs:True. Esther had over 80% of her set pieces (if not 100%) on point in this tournament. Something most players in Nigerian teams struggle with generally. |

yinkeys:Yeahhh. That one no dey look face. You tackle you get yellow. You misbehave, you go see. If pk dey she give pr check. After her the fair lady that officiated the 3rd place match are top 2. I wonder what happened to Salmanatu of 2022. |

HeavenlyHolines:Alozie, Plumptre & Ayinde were poor today I guess they were overwhelmed by the high stakes & fans Congrats to Falcons though The African game is now very competitive lol You’re right about finding replacements for Ohale |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AndSunGorilla: 1:23am On Jul 27, 2025 |
yinkeys:I think Alozie did well. Plumptre was poor because she was double teamed by the Moroccans as Ihezuo not being a winger offered no help to her. Ayinde, I don't know what happened to her, maybe ghosts from the last WAFCON?? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by yinkeys(m): 1:29am On Jul 27, 2025 |
AndSunGorilla:Watch Morocco’s second goal Partly Alozies fault Lol Ayinde gave an assist to Chebbak of all people |

do4luv14:Despite all of that, they still lost. The Moroccans should be ashamed of themselves. |

Good morning from the Undisputed Champions of the Continent to those who believed till the last whistle. We are the La Decima Queens. To those who condemned this team to defeat already after the first 45mins... Get your good morning from Chebbak and the rest of the Moroccan babes. 😁😂

What did the coach tell the players before they came out for the 2nd half? Like the turn around was lit. The passes from defence to attack was a 💯 We could have scored up to 5 goals

Interestingly, the SF scored 4 goals in the group stage, but ran riot in the supposedly tougher knockout rounds by scoring 10 goals in the knockout stages 🤯 Meanwhile, the Super Falcons win over 🇲🇦 was their 50th ever WAFCON victory! What a way to reach their milestone victory at the very finale 🙌🏽 |

TheSuperNerd:Very apt and relevant. If I have learnt anything in all my years of watching football, it's not to count any team out until the final whistle. Despite orchestrating the comeback, some dunces discredited Madugu and posted that the team won in spite of him and not because of him. Again, Morocco's coach, Jorge Vilda is a world cup winning coach with Spain and Justine Madugu outfoxed him. Justine Pwanidi Madugu, collect your flowers. You have done well and we football loving Nigerians appreciate you. |

Echegini’s winner was the Super Falcons’ 190th WAFCON goal! And I believe number 200 would be scored at next year’s tournament |

Ajibade is my girl but Esther is head and shoulders the best player in this tournament by far. Esther, Ajibade, Ijamulisi, Ashleigh, Echiegini came clutch for us in this competition. JohnBullMySon: |
