yinkeys:Her emergence is even due to an emergency in the USA regarding the Super Falcons. If not for that, we for no sabi am or she no go take Wafcon with such performance. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 4:29pm On Jul 27, 2025 |
PDPGuy:Actually, nff don cut the cake prior to now. Only $330k will land in the players hands asides the owed bonuses and allowances. 670k to NFF coffees for their unimaginable non-sporty pleasures. As of today, we are hearing they want to pay the 330k in naira and not dollars. NFF and controversy are Siamese twins. That body dey behave like bureau de change. Once money don pop up, they display unsportsmanlike xtics. 😂 |

daveP:But she's not an introvert on Twitter. She has commented on virtually every single post about the Super Falcons. |

yinkeys:She's been playing since 2021. She was a big big factor in our qualification for the 2022 AFCON then. Unfortunately, she had ACL i think and missed the tournament. |

daveP:North Africans generally just have very poor sportsmanship, and they don't really try to hide it. It's why I never root for them in any major tournament. Sometimes, they remind me of South American teams like Uruguay and Argentina with the way they rely on antics and generally display superiority complex over African sides. |

The minister for arts and culture treated the girls to lunch. Desire Oparanozie was also at the event.

BascoVanVeli:I concur. Tosin Demehin is truly the best CB on the continent in the here and NOW. She was immense throughout this competition. Even when Ohale struggled, Demehin stood tall and marshalled that defence. Her man marking of reigning WPOTY, Barbra Banda in the Quarters vs Zambia was world class. A true defensive general whose emergence at that 2022 Fifa women's U20 WC has seen her truly deliver on her potentials thus far. She still has more to offer us. I am so glad she is still just 23. We need her next CB partner fast!!! Ohale's era as Leader of our defence fades... this is Demehin's "defensive leader"-ERA now, on the rise.

Super Falcons lasses who featured in Every minute of every game at Wafcon 2024 from start to finish. No subs, no bench. They played every second of every tie. 1. Chiamaka Nnadozie - GK 2. Rasheedat Ajibade - MF and Captain 3. Tosin Demehin - CB END OF LIST ❗️❗️❗️ |

Just watched the game again Plumptre & Alozie were good in the 2nd half They redeemed themselves in the 2nd half All of our players were on fire in the 2nd half Coach also rectified his errors and made the right changes at the right time What went wrong in the first half ? They seemed clueless or stunned maybe |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 8:56pm On Jul 27, 2025 |
If she declared for Ghana, with the coach they had, they might have been in the final, yay or nay?

TheSuperNerd:Honestly I thought I was the only one who observed the foul on ohale before their second goal. And VAR didn't bother to check. Anyway we were rightly compensated eventually by same VAR. |

One thing I particularly liked during the game was after we scored the equaliser, Ohale called for a team huddle, and all the nearest players responded immediately... I'm sure they talked about the importance of staying focused and seeing the game off.... It showed team spirit...I liked it... |
