House, please help me with this update below on our family members dependant Visa application update, what should i do. I have sent withdrawal request email to the designated email no response yet Regarding visa It is noted that you have made this Skilled Worker dependent visa application and have paid the 'Immigration Salary List' visa fee. However your sponsor's DCoS has been assigned under the occupation code 2234 which is not listed in Appendix Immigration Salary List. https://u28610873.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=u001.crwiFCZRjnQvbaHEQ6MY6bGIc4cBVmc62DZStKlBocsr7K6B0hUG-2BMbr6MYd03x-2F0u8aT7PxTN8odDnXwvYj9MDjWwy3hNZ5SsPrfunh0ZNDIGT-2BW4MCrETGZfB6t8GQMijqLSlIMUMwx0GtJFOXyw-3D-3DunfJ_z0bS-2B3-2F7iiZIo9FR5iHuMaa5dHfFGtVAi5jiizvg9RNf1zCIw6kk4T84teQjpPkTUNdt-2B2LZv-2Bz9PGHCWIljzyutfmbZeJ2kiM2JgfpOKx0xhm-2Fat0bIolbLXvQry492k-2FhPz1dt67NXJWphDRPEyQUprFgcfMmmG-2FEO-2B7hkcb6c-2FJFETpKzZ0-2FlOuCDgyBrm0jt6L2AWQ6d-2BHxqYkpbji45y53KKJDoTikb2xcV9Fc-2FXFfK9KTeqaGVHzgCmPuKRTG1x4w8EmvbZoEUrvK4-2Fg-3D-3D As you do not qualify to apply under this category, you must now withdraw your application, submit a fresh application under the correct route, pay the correct visa fee and resubmit your biometrics. Once your withdrawal has been confirmed in writing, we will then process your visa fee refund. Please note, it is not possible to pay a top up to the application fee. If you do not withdraw your application, it will not be progressed. Please send your withdrawal request within 10 working days to Worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk, quoting your GWF Number in the subject line Please note that when you withdraw your application, we will also withdraw any linked dependents so they will also need to submit fresh applications. Kind regards, UK Decision Making Centre |

[quote author=Ayoleyi77 post=136201963]I previously applied for a UK visit visa in December of last year but was denied due to discrepancies in the transactions on my salary account. I have since rectified this issue by ensuring that my salary payment description now correctly reflects my income. Currently, I have a treasury bill (TB) investment of ₦10 million, which is scheduled to mature and be liquidated on the 9th of August. In addition, my salary account holds a balance of ₦10 million. My average monthly expenses are approximately ₦380,000. For my upcoming trip, I have made a hotel reservation for two days. Following this, I intend to stay with a family friend for an additional four days. My host has already provided a written invitation to support my visit. Do I need to present a flight reservation as part of my supporting documents? How much should I indicate as my total estimated cost for the trip? Please id appreciate any general advice on this. thanks |

Negroconer:You don't need to book flight. Just state anticipated expenses in your cover letter. Cost of flight to and fro: Daily feeding amount times no of days you will stay: Taxi transport: Miscellaneous: The total you get from this is what should be your estimate for the cost of trip. |

Negroconer:I strongly suggest you stick to one accomodation. Hotel or family friend. If your trip is for tourism, stick to hotel. Also, you don't need a flight reservation for UK Visa. You can put about 1,500 as total estimated cost of the trip. Most of the money will be for your ticket as they are so expensive these days. Good luck! |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Negroconer(m): 11:49am On Jul 31, 2025 |
Will 1,500 be okay for an 8days visit including accommodation, feeding and flight with other small expenses? Cashmadam: |

Hello everyone. My mum wants visit the UK for her elder sister's funeral. She has visited UK 3 times within the last 10years and Her last visit was in 2018. Her nephew in the US is sponsoring the flight ticket and her younger sister in the UK is providing accommodation, feeding and other expenses. She's paying the visa fee herself. Having gone through the visa application form, I have some few questions on the financial situation. My mum is retired and earns monthly pension of about #80k, plus other money from her children and husband for maintenance which is also sent to her pension account. She also has savings in another bank account that has about #1million. Then she has treasury bills of #5million. Her pension account and savings accounts are all over the place because she doesn't have a specific amount she spends. This trip is impromptu so she hasn't got the time to put her accounts in order. Is it necessary to provide the source of money she invested for the treasury bills? Pls how should these questions be answered? 'Why are they helping to pay for your visit'? 'What is the total amount of money you spend each month'? Pls note that she doesn't have specific range of amount she spends monthly. Thank you for your attention to this question. |

Negroconer:Answer some questions yourself Do I need to present a flight reservation as part of my supporting documents? No How much should I indicate as my total estimated cost for the trip? You are the one traveling. How much is ticket, ask Air Peace, how much is transportation, how will feeding be etc. Just make sure the cost is reasonable, not too small or two big compared to your monthly salary. Budget should not exceed 3 months of your monthly salary |

My salary is 1,199,100 So how much can I use for my estimate travel budget? davodyguy: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 4:32pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
Peniel13:Anything you are presenting must be backed with a proof cos there's no interview. So if you said you invested money in Treasury bills, then you have to present proof. 'Why are they helping to pay for your visit'? Just say your Nephew wants her to come for the funeral. 'What is the total amount of money you spend each month'? The answer will be from her statement of account. It's from the statement of account, you can get the average monthly expenses. |

jmoore:Thanks for your response. She has proof of the investment of the treasury bill. My question is that is it necessary to state where she got the money she used to do the treasury bills. |
