Has anyone used the Enugu Visa Application Centre for the UK before?

My parents recently applied through there, and they’ve received an email saying that a decision has been made and the passport is being sent back to them. However, we haven’t received any tracking information—no mention of whether it's being sent via DHL, FedEx, or any other service.

Is it normal not to receive tracking details at this stage?

It’s now been about three to four days, and they still haven’t received the passport. Unfortunately, the center is closed over the weekend, so we can’t even contact them right now.

If anyone has been through this process and knows how we might find tracking info—I'd be really grateful for any advice.

That you did not mention in March, does not mean you lied. Their father guys please come, even though I did have money in March

Do they want you to say, please give me visa, and in July, give my kids

Yes, they gave the passport to GIG for delivery — don’t even get me started on why they use that service. Apparently, GIG sends a text on the day of delivery.

Please how long did it take in Enugu. From booking the appointment to the day a decision was made? GIG has one of the worst courier service in Nigeria.

Currently, I have a treasury bill (TB) investment of ₦10 million, which is scheduled to mature and be liquidated on the 9th of August. In addition, my salary account holds a balance of ₦10 million. My average monthly expenses are approximately ₦380,000.

For my upcoming trip, I have made a hotel reservation for two days. Following this, I intend to stay with a family friend for an additional four days. My host has already provided a written invitation to support my visit.

Do I need to present a flight reservation as part of my supporting documents?

How much should I indicate as my total estimated cost for the trip?

Please id appreciate any general advice on this.

My initial suggestion was that Yiu should build your account for six months

Opening Balance should not be less than ₦5million

Then end of month 1 Salary only drop into the account

Spend 1/3 as expenses keep 2/3

Do that until end of 5th month

At the start of the 6th Month, apply with you bank statement for 5 months

So let's say you want to apply at the start of June, print statement a day or two before biometrics

Let's say travel date in July, let your TB maturity date be middle of June, so it will not reflect in your account, for them to flag as large deposit.


This is what worked for me 100%

Clean 5 months plus pending FD

I strongly suggest you stick to one accomodation. Hotel or family friend. If your trip is for tourism, stick to hotel.

Also, you don't need a flight reservation for UK Visa.

You can put about 1,500 as total estimated cost of the trip. Most of the money will be for your ticket as they are so expensive these days.

How much should I indicate as my total estimated cost for the trip? You are the one traveling. How much is ticket, ask Air Peace, how much is transportation, how will feeding be etc. Just make sure the cost is reasonable, not too small or two big compared to your monthly salary. Budget should not exceed 3 months of your monthly salary

Anything you are presenting must be backed with a proof cos there's no interview.

So if you said you invested money in Treasury bills, then you have to present proof.

'Why are they helping to pay for your visit'? Just say your Nephew wants her to come for the funeral.

'What is the total amount of money you spend each month'? The answer will be from her statement of account. It's from the statement of account, you can get the average monthly expenses.
