Here’s a full breakdown of my maize farming budget and projected returns for this season:

Revenue: ₦1,750,000

Net Loss: ₦419,000

👉 Conclusion:
With a yield of 70 bags selling at ₦25k each, the business would run at a loss of ₦419,000. To break even or profit, either the yield or selling price must go up

They will be hyping farming this, farming that. UNTIL YOU GO INTO IT AS A BUSINESS - THEN YOU GO SEE THE GBEGE!

Especially if you dont know the nitty gritty of it. They will chop you shege!

they are names of areas, towns or communities where all the farmlands are located...to make up a total of 2 hectares plus the cost of cultivating in them respectively

No where is Nigeria is renting of 2htrs #600k

That is three and half tons per hectare -- Not too low in my opinion for our ecology in terms of erratic rainfall, inadequate application of fertilizer and poor quality seeds - some even use grains

The numbers looks modest except for the land rentals

The margin appears tight
