To be honest, i don't know much about this Benjamin Sesko guy. He seems like an upgrade on Hojlund. However, being in same age group as Hojlund, I don't want a case where he comes here and flop and we have more player on our hands that we can't sell off.

Mancity clearly had significantly lofty ambitions when the Sheikhs took over circa 2008

They were intentional with their plans and successfully enticed prospective signings with large scale projects and humongous wages

Comparing them with the present Newcastle United is the greatest agenda driven opinion on these pages

My position was quite clear - if a player is deliberating between Joining Man utd and Newcastle, it's a clear reminder that the mighty has fallen!

If we are at a point where extra persuasion is needed before a player chooses us ahead of Newcastle, Spurs and the likes, its a further testament to the depths to which the club has sunk.

Sesko potentially becoming the 3rd player to allegedly reject us in one Transfer window, is another issue entirely. Hopefully, it wouldnt get to that stage.

......seem we gonna play with 2 upfront - Cunha and Mbeumo with Bruno as 10. Amad gonna play as RWB while Dalot will play as LWB. Both Ugarte and Mainoo gonna partner in the middle as CMs. Trio of Yoro [RCB], De Ligt [CCB] and Shaw [LCB] gonna be the Wall protecting Bayindir.

And he can negotiate a Leipzig like gentle man's agreement with them..(he can leave after 2 years)

He only joins us if he likes the club. We can't guarantee him anything fantastic

Any recent update?

Seeing the lineup, I will not be surprised if the club channels their resources elsewhere and tries out Mbeumo as CF with Hojlund as an option from the bench.
