Ball carrying abilities are intrinsic and do not depend on style of play, formation, or tactics.

This is almost the same thing as saying Ronaldo will miss 1v1 because he’s playing in a 4-2-4 formation instead of 4-3-3. His finishing ability is innate and natural. It doesn’t rely on formation, tactics or his team’s style of play.

I understand that our midfield obviously needs improvement but like Amorim noted, if the defenders were not caught walking instead of sprinting towards the edge of the box, that first goal doesn't happen.

We need the whole team to be in sync. When attacking, the midfield should be able to push higher up the pitch, joined by the defence, else our press will easily be bypassed by the opponent. I saw several instances yesterday when the attackers were pressing, but only the wingers pushed higher up the other side pitch to join the press while the midfielders and defenders didn't bother to burst a sweat.

Yesterday while play was still ongoing Bruno was fighting with another player, and some players had to join them to settle the fight. Match was still ongoing o. Players that should be sprinting into position were fighting or settling fight. The indiscipline some dey make me purge.

One of my biggest worries is that Bruno, a player that time and time again drops standards, is looked up to for inspiration and consistency in maintaining high standards.

That second goal yesterday wouldn’t have happened if Bruno did the simple thing and Casemiro wasn’t finished.

The only good thing is that this team is better at creating chances and scoring goals. The front 3 in the first half yesterday were very fluid and caused Everton plenty of headaches.

If they are fit and with Amad and Dorgu bombing forward, we can at least hope to outscore our opponents.

This is What Manchester United face in their first ten games in the Premier league. Even the most optimistic fan has to admit that this is a herculean task.
But then some will only see what they want to see.....

You are ascribing our struggles to the formation meanwhile the reason this current manager was appointed midseason in the first place is because the previous manager was struggling with these same players using a different formation.

Changing formation alone won’t magically solve our problems. We had these problems under different formations.

Coach has always used 3-4-3 or the variants

You club went for the coach mid season with the manager saying he will stick with him 3-4-3, the club agreed.

But to some of you, all that's needed is for the coach to change formation to whatever as if we didn't watch the same players under different formation.

My own is for Amorim to get the team to work, whichever formation he use is non of my concern.

Lol, una no dey learn. Amorim has already purchased 3 players, plus he bought Ugarte at Sporting before United snapped him up. Until we get to 7-9 new players purchased for Amorim without any improvement in play before una eyes go clear.

Coaches (since sir Alex left) have been buying their own players. LVG, MOU, ETH etc all bought their so prefer players but we are still not moving forward.l dnt like dwelling in the past.Amorim is on board now so let face him.He shud bring out the best in this team .That's y he was employed

Ruben Amorim has brought in some of his own new players like (1) Dorgu (2) Leon (3) Heaven (4) Cunha (5) Mbeumo yet fans keep on gaslighting and pretending that he has not brought in any players. That is why the agenda is to keep throwing the players under the bus as the problem instead of blaming the strait jacket system which is the real issue.
A good coach should be able to utilise whatever tools in his hands to get a result instead of conducting endless interviews whinging and blaming players for your short comings.

More players area are being sought to satisfy his desire to play football in a rigid controlled strait jacket way. I am just tired of some folks here. That other dude keeps posting our opening fixtures as if the rest of us don't have access to the internet.

Imagine him mentioning Leon and Heaven among the players we have acquired just to push a silly narrative...Leon and Heaven are for the future, Amorim has gone about addressing some of the problem areas with the signings so far but we all agree we need a goalie, DM and a CF to really stand a chance...Some might even argue that we can make do with a DM and CM and make do with what we have in attack.

Let us see if the club can fill these positions with quality players before we start panicking.

I suspect Newcastle are already prepping for life without Isak and see Sesko as the natural replacement. They probably want to get their man before selling Isak for big bucks...apparently to prevent further exploitation by other clubs.
