Nigerian politics is devoid of ideology so just vote according to your experiences in present day Nigeria. If you feel Nigeria is working vote continuity, if not vote for a change, simple. Let no one teleguide you on who to vote for.

When politicians realise the people will empower or remove them based on their performance then they will seek to perform, to work for the people instead of for themselves and their interest groups.

A country that has no money to pay decent wages, has no money to create jobs through enterprise has enough money for white elephant projets that benefit just a minute fraction of the population.

He emphasized that both the Christian bloc and the South East region would pull out once Atiku is the flag bearer.

Obi cannot win if he goes for the presidential ticket.. Let him take one step at a time.
His best bet is to get some heavyweight from the north who can give him huge votes to win.
The de-facto political leader in the north who can do that today is Atiku Abubakar. Atiku/Obi ticket will defat Tinubu hands down!

Atiku had more votes than Obi in 2023. Ultimately, it is the number of votes that matter, not how many regions/states you win.

I agree with Festus! OBI will lose a large number of supporters, possibly up to 40%, if he agrees to deputise Atiku.

However, the remaining 60% OBI supporters + Atiku's followers + the mass of Nigerians tormented by hunger + the multitude of tribal northerners currently angry with Tinubu's perceived Yorubanisation, APC would be packing it's bags by 2027 if that coalition ever happens. Festus knows this too!

He is very correct. I am extremely optimistic that Peter Obi has the required competence and integrity to reposition Nigeria on the right track. And that is the only reason he enjoys so much support.

Going by our constitution, the office of the vice president is just like that of a house boy.

Atiku will make a terrible president. It is an error Nigeria must avoid making.

Even if the political calculation suggests that Obi should be a VP we will still vote for him. In fact it makes our chance of winning the election brighter. Whoever the north follows will most likely win. The north will rather follow thier Atiku than a tinubu that has abandoned them and send more Nigerians into hunger so what are we talking about.
