You say wetin?! Only a stupid man forgives a cheating wife. Cheating is an habit and there's no way it's stopping besides, no real man would ever trust a cheating wife again. In marriage, when trust is gone, everything becomes worthless. It's easier for a wife to forgive her cheating husband because man is a provider for his home and of course he has the tendency and authority to marry more than one wife and as a result, it would be understandable for the affected wife.

As a traditional man, you should know realtime when an unfortunate man attempts to visit your garden. In some traditions, the husband would die in 7 days if he sleeps with the wife or eat food prepared by her. A lot of innocent men don go like animals.

Infact, when I think of all the Grandmothers I know who left their husbands for another (usually richer) man, most are alive. When a woman cheats, she exposes her hubby not only to emotional trauma but also to real-life threats—hatred, envy, and jealousy from the other man, and even physical harm. More importantly, she puts her hubby at risk of sexually transmitted infections and diseases. Cheating is not just a game or reckless—it’s life-threatening.

Well, the first scenario, the woman was still sleeping with the 2 men until she left her husband for the 2nd man. That, I'm very sure of (please don't ask me how). And nothing happened, so...

I do believe in Spiritual battles, because I believe in God's existence (He is real). Which means there must be an opposite force to Him. Every religion states it: yin and yang, good and evil. Balance. Good will eventually win but evil exists. And evil does have powers.

But I just don't think, looking at how the devil operates, that he'll kill a man whose wife is cheating. Because that situation is already awful, yet he can use that cheated-on man to wreck even more havoc and cause more sin (down to the next generation). It's like chess: why get rid of a pawn that will be useful?

It's why, no matter what, forgiveness is the best way. It is a gift you're giving yourself: you're releasing your pain to the Lord, who is just and merciful (trust me, He will deal with all parties involved , without causing you to fall into sin trying to get revenge.

Now reconciliation, that's up to the Lord as well. The book of Hosea shows what is possible. And men expect women to forgive adultery but won't forgive hers, yet can't understand why marriages keep shaking. Maybe we should stop being hypocrites?
